Tremisana Game Lodge (1 night)
Tremisana is the largest and leading lodge in the Balule section of Kruger Park. It has a total of 15 chalets plus two bedrooms in the guest house. Every unit is thatched, air-conditioned, and en-suite with a shower, toilet, and basin. The rooms have a tea or coffee station. Insect-proof screens are fitted on all windows. Each bed has its own mosquito net.
There is a splash pool, open-air boma for dinners around a crackling fire, and a covered lapa overlooking a waterhole. A very beautiful luxuriant garden boasts numerous bougainvilleas, palms, and cycads which give the camp a subtropical tone.
Water features add a soothing effect and the overall feel of Tremisana Lodge is very relaxing. At night, the subdued light along the illuminated paved walkways lend a romantic and magical feel to this outstanding camp.

Marc's Treehouse Lodge (3 nights)
With seven tents, the lodge offers rustic but comfortable accommodation geared to put one in close contact with the sights, sounds, and scents of the wild. Amenities include electric fans, mosquito nets, comfortable beds, linen, towels, and soap.
It has a swimming pool, a bush bar, and a boma where meals are served. You can relax around the crackling campfire and share your impressions of the day’s wildlife trip. At the lodge, you can inhale the fresh, balmy air of the African bush veld.
Fall asleep to the gurgling of the river, interrupted by the eerie whoops of hyenas, spine-chilling wails of jackals, and the plaintive cry of the thick-tailed bushbaby. Awaken to the melodious chorus of birdsong and watch the activity of wildlife drinking at the river or at the spotlit waterhole.

Programma
Day 1: Johannesburg - Balule Nature Reserve
Johannesburg Hotel/Hostel or O.R. Tambo Airport pickup and drive to Tremisana Game Lodge where you have time to have a swim or quick rest in your airconditioned chalet. Board the open Landcruiser for an exciting Sunset Drive. After dark, use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner will be an unforgettable BUSH BBQ deep in the African bush. After dinner continue with the Night Drive and overnight in an en suite air-conditioned chalet.
Day 2: Balule Nature Reserve
At sunrise drive to a remote spot to enjoy a 4h Bush Walk. Your ranger will lead you through the bush at a pace you can handle. The thrill of following big animals will remain with you forever. Adrenalin surges will be acute, even if your ranger is adequately armed. Return to Tremisana for brunch. Lunch is served at 13h30. At around 15h00 we enjoy an afternoon game drive. Transfer to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge where accommodation is in romantic and fascinating treehouses. Dinner in the open Boma. Overnight in your fascinating Treehouse.
Day 3: Kruger National Park
You will drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger on a custom-built open-sided game-viewer. You will have an opportunity to view game without intervening glass windows and also listen to and smell the denizens of the bush. Viva Safaris has regular stops at picnic spots, rest camps, and places of interest. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi region’s open plains attract large herds of zebra, giraffe, and antelope that, in turn, attract many predators. In fact, this zone has the highest concentration of lions in Africa.
Day 4: Kruger National Park
Enjoy another full day in the Kruger National Park. Return to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Kruger National Park - Johannesburg
Enjoy a Sunrise Walk. After breakfast, drive via the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendours of the Blyde River Canyon with a stop at the magnificent Three Rondawels. We return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off by arrangement.
