Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara

Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport for a journey to Masai Mara game reserve with a drive through this enormous reserve, which is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Guests will have lunch at Nkishon Tours and Travel's camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game run.

The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents among the park are the Masai giraffe, buffalo, eland, and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, topi, as well as both Thomson’s and Grant's gazelles. Afterwards, arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch, which will be followed by an afternoon game drive, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Full-day Maasai Mara

This whole day will be spent on game viewing and exploring the park’s high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals, including the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. In the afternoon, an optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost. There, you will be welcomed by the locals singing and dancing, a sacred ritual that has formed their rich cultural tradition. Part of the tour includes a glimpse to their local homes and way of life. Return for dinner and overnight at Enkorok Camp or equivalent.

Day 3: Maasai - Lake Naivasha

You will have a morning game drive and then travel to the Rift Valley hub with lunch en route. Later on, arrive at Naivasha Hotel, check-in, and do refreshments. Guests can also have the chance to go on a boat ride at an extra cost. There will be dinner and overnight at Enkorok camp or equivalent.

Day 4: Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast, then proceed to the Amboseli national park via Nairobi for lunch. Arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon with welcome views of Mount Kilimanjaro (if weather permits) and a short game drive enroute. Then, have dinner and stay overnight at AA Lodge or equivalent.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

You will start the day before sunrise to enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and set off for another extensive game drive before the clouds build up over the summit. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and is snow-capped at the peaks.

The majesty of this tropical mountain makes Amboseli an ideal photographer's haven by offering a spectacular background for wildlife and scenic photography. Herds of elephants inhabit this swampy park together with lions, cheetahs, buffalo, warthog, rhinos, and different species of antelopes. The park is also home to interesting bird species. All meals and overnight at AA lodge or equivalent.

Day 6: Amboseli

Early pre-breakfast game drive and probable last sights of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, you depart back to Nairobi for your international flight.
