Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Pick up from Airport or Hotel in Nairobi, then proceed to Masai Mara through the great Rift Valley, with a 15-minute stop at the view point, then proceed to Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch do some refreshments as you get ready for an evening game drive at the Park and later on dinner and overnight at your camp / lodge.
The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year round. The wildlife is far from being confined within the Reserve boundaries and an even larger area extends beyond the game Reserve. Centuries of close association with the wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and Maasai people live in peace with one another.
No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected - the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino, and Cape buffalo are in abundance.
Day 2: Masai Mara full day
After breakfast, you will have the full day to explore the Park in search of the Big Five and the cats. Have a picnic lunch served at the Mara River then later on back to the camp for overnight.
Today, you will be spending in the vast eco-system of the Mara searching for the Big Five and much more. You are in Kenya for your dreams, the Masai Mara. You will spend another exciting day here, giving you the luxury of time to appreciate the region’s rich wildlife by game drives. Zebra, wildebeest, topi and hippos are common, as are leopards, lions and cheetahs.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive for late lunch and have a relaxed afternoon at your lodge / hotel. Dinner and overnight at Mat farm hotel or equivalent.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Early morning breakfast and proceed for a game drive at the park then head over to Lake Naivasha. Leave for the nearby papyrus-fringed Lake Naivasha, for a relaxed day/afternoon. With over 400 species of bird, this freshwater lake is a birding paradise. Along the lake’s fabled waters, you are bound to see some of the area’s more intriguing species - hippos, giraffes, buffalo, and even the arboreal colobus monkey. Lake Naivasha lies in the Great Rift Valley and the name derives from the local Maasai name
Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise. Lunch at your lodge in Naivasha. Enjoy the property then dinner and overnight at your Sweet Lake resort or equivalent.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out of the hotel head over the Crescent Island, also known as Naivasha's best kept secret. This is where the renowned movie “Out of Africa” was filmed. You will have a walk close to animals take pictures and boat ride as well. Then later on drive back to Nairobi
