Program

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

You will leave Arusha town early in the morning with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in Tarangire. Tarangire is Tanzania's third-largest national park and is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.

The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe, and zebra.

After the game drive, you will head to accommodation for relaxation and where a delicious dinner and overnight await you.

Day 2: Transit to Serengeti National Park

After finishing up a good breakfast at your accommodation, you will head out towards Serengeti National Park and travel in the never-ending plain grasslands. Later on, you proceed to Serengeti with a game drive en route.

The Serengeti National Park is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. You will have a late afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. A picnic lunch will be done during the daylong game drive itself.

The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night's rest in your accommodation. Overnight at Serengeti in Central Serengeti.

  • Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Lodge

Day 3: Game drive in Serengeti National Park

Early after having a delicious and heavy breakfast, depart for a game drive to explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards.

The central portion of the Serengeti - known as the Seronera area - is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species.

During the off-season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion prides provide an excellent game-viewing experience all year round.

Along with a picnic lunch, go on for a full-day game drive until evening. The Njofu Expedition Company Limited is completely flexible with your preferences and on this day you will be doing another full game drive.

Since the Serengeti is large, you can find different areas to exploit and spot animals. If you are lucky enough you can even see some events such as animal hunting and fighting. Later on, after this beautiful scenery tour full of memories, you will be taken to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight.

  • Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater full day

You will wake up early morning, having your breakfast early in the morning before starting to depart to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in the 600 m deep caldera. You will descend the crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. km with a depth of over 2000 feet.

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and 14 kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals.

The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs, and Lions are found in plenty.

After the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team. Your guide will take you to Arusha town for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
