Enchanting Classic Safari in Kenya

Netherken Wildlife Safari Kenya Itinerary

Day 1 (Flying to Maasai Mara)

On this day, you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the Moi International Airport (MBA) or Wilson Airport (WIL) for your flight. You will depart on the regular scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve with aerial views of the Mount Kili­manjaro and the Great Rift Valley, and arrive at one of Maasai Mara airstrips.

Afterward, you will be transferred to the lodge / camp with a short game drive en-route and have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will go on another game drive. At the end of the first day, you will have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge / luxurious tented camp.

Day 2 (Exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve)

On the second day, you will spend the whole day at the Maasai Mara National Reserve exploring the vast natural phenomenon where the concentration of game per square kilometer is the highest in East Africa.

You will be able to see lion, elephant, buffaloes, cheetah and rhino, giraffes, zebras, warthogs and thousands of other animals. Then, you will have meals and overnight stay at the camp / lodge.

Day 3 (End of the Safari)

On your last day, you will have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Later on, you will return for breakfast and then continue for an extra game drive and be back in time for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Mombasa or Nairobi and picked up by Netherken's personnel to be transferred back to your hotel.


The safari holiday will take place in Maasai Mara National Reserve. It is named after the Maasai, who still live there and also manage the area. This group of people also calls the reserve as ‘The Mara’. Maasai Mara is known as one of Africa’s largest wildlife reserves and is an ideal place for wildlife watching safaris and camping adventures.
