Experience a different sensation of safari! This trip is a combination of recently open Manaslu Circuit tea house trekking and Chitwan National Park. Chitwan is the first national park of Nepal, expanse about 932 square kilometers south-central part of the country. It has access by road 146 kilometers from the capital city Kathmandu and 20 minutes flight to Bharatpur. Chitwan is inhabited of many animals including endangers one horn rhino, Royal Bagnag tiger, elephant, deer, crocodile, etc., where you can enjoy in the mother nature with many activities such as canoe ride, jeep safari, jungle walking, village tour, and birdwatching. The trip is designed for those trekkers who like to explore in the Himalaya in short amount of time. For this trip, you need to be physically fit and mentally well prepared. Some days you need to walk eight to nine hours, which is more than average walking in a day. Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd could just organize camping trip in the last three years, but now there is a basic tea house for the entire trip.


Day 1

Arrival at Kathmandu.

Day 2

Trekking preparation and permit paperwork day.

Day 3

Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar (535 meters, 6 to 7 hours).

Day 4

Drive from Arughat to Soti Khola (720 meters, 1.5 to 2 hours) and trek to Machhakhola (930 meters, 6 to 7 hours).

Day 5

Trek from Machhakhola to Dovan / Thulo Dhunga (1,250 meters, 6 to 7 hours).

Day 6

Trek from Dovan / Tholu Dhunga to Philim (1,570 meters, 5 to 6 hours).

Day 7

Trek from Philim to Ghap (2,165 meters, 8 to 9 hours).

Day 8

Trek from Ghap to Sama Gaon (3,525 meters, 7 to 8 hours).

Day 9

Exploring day in Sama Gaon for acclimatization, you may visit Manaslu Base Camp.

Day 10

Trek from Sama Gaun to Samdo (3,850 meters, 4 to 5 hours).

Day 11

Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala (Larkya Phedi) (4460 meters, 5 to 6 hours).

Day 12

Trek from Sharmashala to Bimphedi (3590 meters, 8 to 9 hours) via Larkya La (5,160 meters).

Day 13

Bimphadi to Tilje (2,300 meters, 6 to 7 hours).

Day 14

Trek from Tilje to Dharapani (2,130 meters, 1.5 to 2 hours) and drive to Beshisahar (3 to 4 hours).

Day 15

  • Drive from Besisahar to Chitwan by bus (5 to 6 hours)
  • The hotel staff comes to Chitwan National Park to pick you up to the hotel by jeep
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel
  • After lunch, you will proceed for Tharu village tour
  • You can enjoy swimming pool
  • Dinner and overnight stay will be at Chitwan National Park

Manaslu Circuit

Manaslu Circuit is becoming the most popular trip this day after the road construction at Annapurna Round trail. It is recently open tea house trekking located north-east part of Gorkha districts of Nepal. The eighth highest mountain in the world, the 8163-meter Mount Manaslu, is the key attraction of the trip. As Manaslu is near Tibet border, the people here are similar to the Tibetan; they have been preserving the earliest Tibetan culture and lifestyle until now. If anyone would like to visit Tibet but not successful due to various reasons, then Manaslu trip would be the best one. You will have the experience to see the people's unique culture, belief, and religious faith. There is a basic tea house amenity in the entire of Manaslu and the other trekking regions. But nowadays, there are several new tea houses that have been built after the 25-April earthquake EP center at Barpak, Gorkha. The trail has been reconstructed in several places and walk Way Bridge with the latest Swiss technology. This makes an easy access for the trekkers and local people. And follow the same trekking routes as Manaslu Circuit through the Khorla Besi, Machha Khola, Tatopani, Dobhan, Jagat, Sirdibas, Philim, Pewa, Dang, Ghap, Bhi Phedi, Namrung, Lihi, Lho, Shyala, Sama Gaun, Manaslu Base Camp, Samdo, Dharamshala, and Bhimtang via Larkpa La Pass with the elevation of 5,160 meters. Then the trip ends at Dharapani drive by public bus or jeep to the Kathmandu.

Manaslu Rapid trekking is specially designed for those trekkers who are mentally and physically fit for the high Himalaya hiking at the short period of time. According to the client’s history, most of them successfully completed this trip without any obstacle. As Rapid Manaslu Trip starts from 720 meter-elevation from sea level at Sotikhola and it goes gradually gaining elevation to the highest point at Larkya Bhanjyang (5,160 meters), mostly following Budhigandaki River bank through the rural village. Chitwan National Park

The first national park, Chitwan, is situated in south-central Nepal, covering 932 square kilometers with deciduous forests overlooking the floodplains of Narayani, Rapti, and Reu rivers. When the park was declared as a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1979, since then it has gained popularity among the Nepal travelers. Chitwan Jungle Safari is the best destination for those who want to explore the jungle and their inhabitants of Nepal. The park is a 21-kilometer drive from Bharatpur, which is 20 minutes by air or 146 kilometers by tourist bus from Kathmandu. There are many comfort resorts, hotels, and lodges in Chitwan.

The wildlife safari in Chitwan offers a wilderness of rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles, and several species of water animals. The major highlights of this park are 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers. In the park, you will discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, of pre-historic rhino and lumbering elephants, crocodile, python and deer; brilliantly colored birds and if you are fortunate - the superb Royal Bengal Tiger. The other animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, deer, leopards, and wild cats, etc. share their home with each other.
