Day 1: Fort Dauphin - Andohahela National Park - Berenty Reserve

This trip takes you from the moist places of Fort Dauphin with its beautiful beaches, such as the Beach Libanona, the Anse Dauphine or Fort Dauphin Bay, Ankoba Beach or False Gallion Bay, Evatra Point and Lokaro Creek, Sainte Luce Bay, the Nahampoana Lemur Reserve, and the Manantantely Waterfall Domain.

You will see the rice paddies decorate the Anosyenne Mountain Range towards the discovery of a new transitional and semi-arid world in the extreme south of Madagascar. So with this step, you will see the intermediate forest of Andohahela National Park (Tsimelahy Transition Forest), decorated with beautiful scenery and natural swimming pool.

Then, to finish the day, you will journey to the discovery of the reserve of Berenty for the different types of animals and diurnal and nocturnal birds in the dry forest and forest gallery near the Mandrare River.

Day 2: Berenty Reserve - Ambovobe - Tsihome - The Beach of Faux Cap

This step is based on the discovery of the ancestral heritage and culture of Madagascar. You will learn the culture of Madagascar as you meet others before you join the tour of the most beautiful beach of Faux Cap. This place is beautiful with its landscape decorated with thorny bush.

Day 3: Faux Cap - Cap Sainte Marie Special Reserve - Lavanono

You are on the southern tip of Madagascar. You will ride less with the vehicle in this place because it is a Testudo radiata territory (turtle) in the heart of the virgin forest about one meter high.

You can see the end of the Indian Ocean and the beginning of the Mozambique Channel in this Special Reserve Cap Sainte Marie. It is the only place you can see the egg piece of Aepyornis (Great Birds Missing from 10th Century). Discover this semi-arid place full of dry forest, culture, and animals of Madagascar with this baobab and ancestral culture.

Day 4: Lavanono - Androka - Itampalo

Your adventure with the 4WD car continues. You will leave the surf beach, then you will take the road of adventure full of rocky, big sand of Menaradra before you cross the virgin forest of Bevoalavo or Gros rat. The surroundings are amazing to say with this beautiful scenery and baobab Andasoni za. One crosses many times with carts of the zebus coming to look for water very far from the village with their kegs.

Day 5: Itampolo - Tsimanampetsotse National Park - Beach of Ambola

The beach of Itampolo is probably the best beach, but you still have things to do as you will visit the Tsimanampetsotse National Park. In this place, you can see some blind fish on the lake inside of the big cave, the older baobab from Madagascar about 3000 years old, and the salt lake full of birds like the flamingos.

You will then be headed to the most beautiful beach in Ambola. You will relax in this beach full of pulp fishermen. You will order dinner at the hotel restaurant Le Vahombe.

Day 6: Ambola - Beheloka - Ankilimivony - Anakao

You will always be driven close to the beach and next to nature with different types of pristine forests. You can have stops for photos for the best landscape and the most beautiful beach of Beheloka.

Day 7: Anakao - Betioky

After the tour on the south coast near the beach lined with a dry forest full of animals like lemurs and birds, you will continue the journey into the interior of the country. On the road, you will see a different type of baobab, take pictures, then you will join in the discovery on the Special Reserve of Beza-Mahafaly.

Day 8: Betioky - Beza Mahafaly Reserve

The Beza-Mahafaly Special Reserve, like the Berenty Private Reserve, is made up of 100 hectares of gallery forest and 480 hectares of spiny desert and has been a key research site for 20 years. It is located south of the Onilahy River about 35 kilometers northeast of the village Betioky-Sud.

The species that one can see in Beza-Mahafaly are the same as in Berenty, including the ring-tailed lemur or the Lemur catta, Verreaux Sifaka or the Propithecus Verreauxi, White footed sport, and the gray mouse lemur or the Microcebus Murinus).

Missing are the brown lemurs of the Andohahela National Park rainforest. The region of Beza-Mahafaly as a whole is much more remote than Berenty and worth the adventure of getting there.

Day 9: Betioky - Tulear

After the visit to Betioky and the special reserve of Beza-Mahafaly, you will be driven to reach Tuléar. Here you can have more adventure and make the RN 7 (asphalt road) by taxi-bush or minibus by visiting the Isalo National Park, Andringitra National Park, or the Ranomafana National Park. You can also take off from the plane to Antananarivo.

This tour includes a trip to Tsimanampesotse National Park, Cap Sainte Marie Special Reserve, Wet Forest of Andohahela National Park, and Andohahela National Park Transition Forest in Madagascar. Madagascar lies in the Indian Ocean facing Africa (Mozambique), which it is separated by 400 kilometers from the Mozambique Channel. Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world by area, after Greenland, New Zealand, and Borneo.
