During this yoga retreat and safari, you will be accommodated in a double room (shared / private) at Etosha Village, Desert Breeze, and Desert Quiver Camp.
Etosha Village comes with luxurious and spacious air-conditioned rooms, modern en-suite bathrooms and shower. Each room comes with a fridge, coffee, and tea making facilities and electronic safe. The outside patio and seating area is ideal to relax and enjoy the surrounding beautiful nature.
Desert Breeze is located a few minutes’ drive from the center of town proving the perfect escape to experience a space so tranquil and serene it will entice your senses and nourish your soul.
Luxury en-suite bungalows with a private balcony from where you can admire the breathtaking view of the Namib dunes are available for you to enjoy.
Desert Quiver Camp is located 5 kilometers from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. It marvels with spectacular views and roaming wildlife. The lodge has a large swimming pool and 2 communal boma-areas.
The accommodation is uniquely designed self-catering units with spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. It has a shaded patio area to relax and enjoy the view of the Namib Desert.
Etosha National Park can be seen all the way from space and is one of Southern Africa’s most popular wildlife parks. The Park spans an area of 22,270 square kilometers and gets its name from the large Etosha salt pan which is almost entirely within the park.
It is home to four of the ‘Big five’ and houses hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhinoceros.
The picturesque coastal town of Swakopmund was established by German colonists in 1892. With its German history, some buildings have German colonial architecture accompanied with endless German cuisine and a small part of its population is still German-speaking.
Attractions in Swakopmund include the Swakopmund Museum, Martin Luther steam locomotive, National Marine Aquarium, Jetty and the Crystal Gallery where you will find the world’s largest quartz crystal on display.
Sossusvlei is undoubtedly Namibia's most iconic landscape located in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world and stretches over 1500 kilometers, with dunes reaching heights of 300 meters. Deadvlei, a white clay pan with dead camel thorn trees, and the dunes surrounding it, is the pride of the Namib Desert. Black-backed jackal, springbok, oryx, and ostrich are found in the dunes frequently.
During this retreat you will be served three daily delicious meals. Options of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free will be available. Coffee, tea, juice, water, and fruit will be supplied all day.
Breakfast will consist of extensive selections of fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals, freshly baked bread, eggs, and smoothies.
Lunch will mostly be an a la carte menu with endless mouth-watering dishes to choose from.
Dinner will consist of exquisite choices of salads, vegetable dishes, freshly baked breads, and a variety of grilled meats and stir-fries followed by decadent desserts and a variety of cheeses and biscuits.
