You will be accommodated for three nights at Hotel Royal Suite, one night at Chisapani Guest House, one night at Bhangeri Durbar Resort, one night at Gaia Holiday Home, and two nights at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.

Bhangeri Durbar Resort

Bhangeri Durbar Resort is a premier resort in Nagarkot. After parking your vehicle and walking down the stairs, you will land on the cozy third-floor reception and lobby. The resort includes seven super deluxe rooms, twenty-five deluxe rooms, and five family rooms. A multi-cuisine restaurant lies on the second floor of the main building. A lounge bar for a relaxed evening opens up to the garden on the first floor.

It is located at Resort Marga, Dhulikhel, just outside the Eastern rim of Kathmandu valley, south of the Himalayas at 1550 meters (5085 feet) above sea level and is situated 33 kilometers (20.5 miles) southeast of Thamel (a tourist hub in Kathmandu). The area has diverse inhabitants with the majority being of Brahmin, Chhetri, Tamang, Newars, and Dalit decent. Drinking water in Dhulikhel is some of the best quality in Nepal.

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp, set up in 1993, was the first luxury camp in this wildlife Reserve. It was set up primarily for bird watchers. The camp is ideal for all nature lovers seeking peace within a paradise of nature. The camp is staffed with local naturalists and bird specialists. It has 12 large deluxe safari tents equipped with modern facilities. Its restaurant serves Nepalese and international cuisine and has a fully stocked bar.

Program

Day 1: Kathmandu

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), the representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You will have a tour briefing.

Day 2: Kathmandu

At 07:00, you will have a morning breakfast. Then, at 09:00, you will have a full day of sightseeing tour to Nepal UNESCO World Heritage site such as Kathmandu durbar square, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swyambhynath, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar square. In the evening, back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Sundarijal

At 07:00, you will have your breakfast. Then, at 08:00, drive to Sundarijal for one and a half hours and trek for four hours to Chisapani (2100 meters) with the guide.

Day 4: Nagarkot

Morning wake up call will be at 05:30 for beautiful sunrise over 180 degree of Mountain panorama view. Breakfast will be at 07:00 and you will start trekking by 08:00. You will trek to Nagarkot for five hours (2200 meters) with guide. Lunch will be served by 13:00.

Day 5: Dhulikhel

Early morning at 06:00, you will have a beautiful mountain view with sunrise. Breakfast will be at 07:00 and you will start trekking 08:00 to Dhulikhel (2100 meters) for six hours with guide. Lunch will be at 13:00.

Day 6: Biratnagar

You will have a breakfast at 07:00 with a beautiful mountain view. At 08:00, you will drive for one and a half hours to the airport and at 12:00, you will fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar with a guide. After arrival, you will meet the representative and drive to the resort.

You will get a reception, welcome drinks, and introduction to your room. Then you will have a time to freshen up and briefing session, following with lunch. Afterward, have a bird walk in the marshland outside the reserve to see the strokes, ibises, snipes, waterfowl, birds of prey. In the evening, have a sunset view and you can enjoy a cultural program that will be performed by the local people then you will have your dinner.

Day 7: Koshi River

You will wake up with the sound of birds at 06:00 and after getting refreshed, you will have breakfast at 07:00 with tea / coffee. At 08:00, you will have nature walks around the reserve. Then you will get a Jeep drive with packed lunch to see waders, waterfowl, birds of prey, marsh crocodile, otters, wild water buffalo, and Gangetic dolphins including a visit to Pink Tower.

At 12:00, you will go boating at Koshi River. The river is made up of seven-largest rivers in Nepal. You will explore the river birds, water buffaloes, dolphins, and various other water habitats. Also, you will have picnic lunch along the river basin. Then in the evening, you will have the short drive to Koshi barrage to explore the endangered birds and dolphins and then return to the camp. Then, you will have a dinner stay an overnight at a hotel.

Day 8: Koshitappu Reserve - Kathmandu

You will get a wake up call and you will have breakfast at 07:00. You will have a short nature walk around Koshitappu Reserve. At 09:00, you will be transferred to Biratnagar Airport (BIR) and finally fly back to Kathmandu. You will stay an overnight at a hotel.

Arrival in Kathmandu at 12:00 and check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will have a time for shopping and packing. Then you can rest and have a dinner.

Day 9

Have your breakfast, get to the final departure to the airport and fly back to sweet home.

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve was established in 1976 with the area of 1756 square kilometers. This reserve lies in the floodplains of the Sapta-Koshi in mid-east Nepal and is a favorite spot for bird enthusiasts. The reserve's vegetation includes spreads of tall grass and patches of sisoo forests. The last surviving herd of wild buffaloes in Nepal is found here. Other species include wild boar, hog deer, spotted deer, and blue bull called nilgai. A total of 280 species of birds, including ducks, ibises, egrets, herons, and floricans, are recorded here. This area is extremely important for migratory birds. Other animal species include the crocodile, gharial, and the Gangetic dolphins.
