This safari has been designed specifically to focus on and to increase your chance to see the Great Serengeti Wildebeest Migration. The itinerary has been designed to include the Lake Ndutu area and southern and central Serengeti National Park where the majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found from December through to April. To save on unnecessary travel time and to increase your game viewing time, this itinerary has been designed that you fly from the Serengeti National Park to Arusha town on the last day.

This hotel is located in the heart of Arusha city. It is easily accessible and is only 45 minutes from the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), one and a half hours from the Namanga Border, and five minutes from the city center. All the rooms are well-furnished with elegant decor and wooden furniture and equipped with an electronic card door lock system to maximize security, making it one of the safest and best places to stay in Arusha.

The public campsites which are collectively called Seronera Campsite are located in the Central Serengeti area known as the Seronera. Seronera Campsite is one of the most famed campsites in Tanzania for animal encounters. Animals will pass through the campsite at night on their nocturnal wanderings. This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats and bathrooms are outside of the tent. The sleeping bags and mattresses are provided.
Simba Campsite lies on the very rim of Ngorongoro Crater and has an excellent view across the caldera. A fantastic sunrise over the crater rim opposite makes a fine breakfast scene. Often there are elephants wandering around the camp! This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats and bathrooms are outside of the tent. Facilities at Simba Campsite are basic but this is more than made up for by the atmosphere of this camp in the clouds. The sleeping bags and mattresses are provided.
Meru slopes and safaris guide will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and take you to their office in Arusha. As local Tanzanians, their guides know well the country and Arusha city, so you’ll be in good hands from when you arrive at the moment you leave.
After your breakfast in the hotel around 8.00am you will leave to Arusha National Park, and its 40 minute drive from Arusha town. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress.
The entrance gate leads into shadowy montane forest inhabited by inquisitive blue monkeys and colourful turacos and trogons – the only place on the northern safari circuit where the acrobatic black-and-white colobus monkey is easily seen. In the midst of the forest stands the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog.
Further north, rolling grassy hills enclose the tranquil beauty of the Momela Lakes, each one having a different hue of green or blue. There are shallows sometimes tinged pink with thousands of flamingos. The lakes support a rich selection of resident and migrant waterfowl, and also shaggy waterbucks that display their large lyre-shaped horns on the watery fringes. Giraffes glide across the grassy hills, between grazing zebra herds, whilst pairs of wide-eyed dik-dik dart into scrubby bush like overgrown hares on spindly legs. You will be able to see buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs and zebras can all be seen year round as well as many different bird species.After your full day game drive our driver guide will drive you back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Pick up from Arusha hotel at 8.00m then take 3 hours driver to Tarangire national park and you will have full day game drive inside this park later you will drive to Jambo lodge for dinner and overnight . Location of Tarangire national park is 115km from Arusha .and cover area square of 2800km.Wild animals drink water from Tarangire river where the name Tarangire come from. The park has major attractions which are a large number of elephants ,climbing trees pythons and baob ab trees.Also you will be able to see lions,leopards and other animals
After waking up this morning you will have full breakfast, pack your luggage in the safari jeep, then you will start to do en-route game drive to Serengeti .with your lunch inside the jeep.
On the way you will be able to view beautiful of Rift valley , view of Ngorongoro crater and you will reach Serengeti around 3.pm.
You will have an evening game drive in central Serengeti where you will be able to see the sunset, and after you will have dinner and overnight in Seronera campsite inside Serengeti
Major attraction in Serengeti are endless plain and great Serengeti wildebeest migration which involve 1.5 herbivores and followers,predators use to move from one area to another almost all parts of Serengeti because of drought.Our driver guide will make sure you will able to see part of wildebeest migration. The movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti's wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant's gazelle, Thomson's gazelle, eland and impala you will be able to see them in Serengeti.
In this day you will wake up early morning and have your full breakfast ,then you will start your game drive inside Serengeti , and our driver will drive you to northern Serengeti. Our driver will drive you to the key areas in Serengeti
to observe this mass movement of the wildebeest and all the drama it entails, but we'd recommend the flash-points of the Mara River, , and the Ndutu Plains. River crossings at Kogatende starts in July as the mega herd settles into the area. Between July to October, game viewing is at its best with river crossings pretty much guaranteed every day. There is no distinct movement as the herds tend to cross back and forth over the river, following the rains and subsequent fresh grasses.
In late June and July, the migration moves into north-western Serengeti. Thus, these are the best months to see the migration in the western region of Serengeti. And, in August to September you can see the Great Migration in northern Serengeti
In this day you will wake up early morning and have your full breakfast ,then you will start your game drive inside Serengeti , as you will have full day in Serengeti our driver will drive you to the key areas in Serengeti.
We will make sure that you will follow wildebeest migration where they will during your tour with us.
The Great migration varies every year the best chance of seeing it is during June up to September while the wildebeest calving is from January to March ,for the July up to September our driver will be able to take to northern Serengeti where they be able to see the great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. A million and a half of these majestic animals’ travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources and after your full day game drive you head back to your accommodation for dinner and over night.
You will wake 5.45 for early breakfast and see the Sun rise inside Serengeti, after you finish your breakfast you will do early morning game drive up to 11.30am then you head back to campsite for the hot lunch and pack your stuff in the jeep .
This time after finishing your hot lunch you will proceed with game drive in Serengeti while heading to Ngorongoro crater in Simba campsite for dinner and overnight.
You will wake up around 5.30 am for your breakfast, after breakfast you will descend to Ngorongoro crater floor where you will able to see all big five, also you will see different types of birds, black rhino available inside crater.In this day you will have your lunch inside the crater while watching nature and high concentrations of flamingos.
Later after 6 to 7 hours game drive inside crater floor you will start ascend from crater passing through campsite for packing all luggage inside the jeep ready to drive back to Jambo lodge for dinner and overnight.On this day after crater tour you will have a walking tour inside mto wa mbu village where you will experience how local people live, see banana plantations and you can taste local food also.
After your break fast you will head to lake Manyara for a full day game drive , inside the park you will be able to see climbing tree lions and a lot of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake and you will visit a hot spring . Also the same day you will visit Maasai boma where you will see how they live and learn their culture and traditions then later drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania. The national park is at Manyara Region. The name originates from Tarangire river that crosses in the park. The only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. Dry season animals migrate to Tarangire National Park from Manyara National Park. The Ngorongoro Crater was once a gigantic volcano. It is the largest intact caldera in the world. The Ngorongoro crater is a deep, volcanic caldera a breathtaking natural wonder. Before it erupted, it would have been higher than Mt Kilimanjaro. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with 600 meters deep Ngorongoro Crater. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth.
Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect.
The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes.
Arusha National Park covers an area of 542 square kilometers and lies between the peaks of Mountain Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru and ascends from 1500 meters at Momela to 4566 meters at the summit of Mount Meru. Initially, when established in 1960, the park contained Ngurdoto Crater and Momela lakes, until 1967 when Mount Meru was made part of it.
The flora and fauna varies with the topography, which ranges from forest to swamp. The best time for visiting is during the dry season from July to March. The best months to climb Mount Meru are June to February (although there are some rains in November).
On clear days magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru can be seen from almost any part of the park. The best views of Mount Kilimanjaro are from December to February.
