Join Mara Triangle Safaris Limited in an exciting safari tour that you will remember! During this safari, you will get scheduled game drives in Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara National Reserve wildlife. This safari will give you a glance at the African wilderness and what Kenya has to offer. You will use a minivan or a Land Cruiser with pop-up roof for easy game viewing and photography.
Mara Triangle Safaris Limited will accommodate you at Kibo Safari Camp, Lake Naivasha Country Club, and Mara Sopa Lodge.
At 06:00 you will be picked up by one of Mara Triangle Safaris Limited representatives at the airport and later drive to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at lunchtime at the Amboseli. After lunch, you can relax and later on proceed for an afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is located on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa’s highest - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania.
It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You are likely to see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest, and other plain animals. After the afternoon game drive, you will get back to the lodge for dinner.
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day with morning and afternoon game drive in search of the animals.
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive at lunchtime at your lodge. After lunch, you will have time to walk around and also enjoy a boat ride and then back to the lodge for dinner.
After breakfast, check-out and drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the spotted plains in the Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest.
You will arrive for lunch at your lodge. After that, you will go on an afternoon game drive until sunset in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains, and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.
After breakfast, you will spend the rest of the two days’ game watching on morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife is abundant in the reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded and among them, there are 57 birds of prey. Every year the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle; The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats (lion, leopard, and cheetah) follow the wildebeest, essentially their main source of food, into the Mara. So the Mara at this time is literally packed with wildlife, providing lucky visitors on safari with superb sightings of game.
After breakfast, you will depart to Nairobi. You will arrive at lunchtime. You will have a complimentary lunch and later be dropped at the airport in time for your evening scheduled flight.
This safari will take place in various locations in Kenya, including Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara.
Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kenya. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is more wildlife abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).
