Day 1 - Nairobi to Amboseli (approximately four hours' drive)

At 6:00 a.m., you will be picked up by one of the representative and drive to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its big game and scenic beauty with the landscape dominated by the Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers an interesting contrast with its dry and dusty appearance, which can be attributed to the volcanic ash that came out of Mount Kilimanjaro when it last erupted. In spite of the appearance, there is a continuous supply of water that gets filtered through volcanic rocks from Kilimanjaro's melted snow.

These streams flow underground, creating lush green areas, and converge at two clear water springs in the park. You will arrive in time for the lunch. After your lunch, you will enjoy your afternoon game drive. You will have your dinner and stay overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 2 - Amboseli full day game drive

You will spend a further day in the park on morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal, and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, the wild dog among others. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, martial eagle, and pygmy falcon.

You will mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants. The bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in all of Kenya. You can also enjoy excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru. Your dinner and overnight will be at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 3 - Amboseli to Aberdares (approximately seven and a half hours' drive)

After the breakfast, you will check out with picnic lunches and drive towards Aberdare National Park which contains the second largest population of the black rhino, unique to Kenya. You will arrive in time for your lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. Later, you are transferred to the tree lodge in a shared vehicle. Animals easily observed include the lion, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus, and Sykes monkey.

Rarer sightings include those of the golden cat and the bongo, an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. The Ark Aberdares will be the place where you enjoy your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4 - Aberdares to Lake Nakuru (approximately four hours' drive)

After having breakfast and checking out, you will drive to Lake Elementaita and check-in at the camp followed by a lunch. After the lunch, you will drive onwards to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game viewing drive. The notable game within the lake includes hippo and clawless otters. On the shores roam waterbuck, there are Bohor reedbuck and zebra. The woodlands and forest are now home to both black and white rhino.

Buffalo, leopard, lion, Rothschild's giraffe, and black and white Colobus monkey are plentiful in the forest. The bushlands offer eland, steenbok, impala, Chandler's reedbuck and dik-dik, whilst rock hyrax, and klipspringer occupy the cliffs and escarpment. You will transfer back for the dinner and stay overnight at Sentrim Elementaita.

Day 5 - Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara (approximately six hours' drive)

After the breakfast, you will check-out and drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the spotted plains in the Mara language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest.

You will arrive for the lunch at the camp and later depart for an evening game viewing drive until sunset in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains, and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets. You will have your dinner and stay overnight at Enchoro Camp.

Day 6 - Maasai Mara full day game drive

A morning breakfast will begin your day. After the breakfast, you will spend the whole day game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife park, the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Your morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa's big five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera.

Wherever you go in the vast Maasai Mara, you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Maasai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, and wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common. Your dinner and staying overnight will be at Enchoro Camp.
