Day 2: Highlands - Thermal city (Along the roads to Antsirabe)

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic journey along the National Road 7 (RN7) towards Antsirabe. Along the way, immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture with a captivating detour to Ambatolampy, a renowned hub for artisanal craftsmanship. Day 5: A final glimpse of the river before a new adventure

As navigation on the Tsiribihina continues, new landscapes open up for contemplation at every turn. A stopover in the village of Ambatomisay, where the local people warmly welcome you. An authentic cultural immersion awaits you: “Akory Aby e!” Sakalava meetings are always a unique experience. After greeting each other with respect, they sit down and begin a long conversation for about 10 minutes.

Yet another Mora-Mora experience. After this enriching break, you will resume your journey to Tsimafana. Disembarkation marks the end of your river adventure. You will return to your vehicle and head to Belo-sur-Tsiribihina, taking with you some precious memories. Overnight stay at Hotel du Menabe.

Day 6: Tsingy expedition: conquering a unique landscape

Day 9: A wild adventure from Bekopaka to Kirindy

Before embarking on your nocturnal adventure, savor the opportunity to capture the perfect photo with these iconic symbols of affection as your backdrop. As darkness falls, venture into the forest with your guide and prepare to be captivated by the nocturnal wonders that await. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Berthe's mouse lemur (Microcebus berthae), a critically endangered species found only in this region.

Listen for the distinctive calls of the grey mouse lemur (Microcebus murinus) and the pale fork-marked mouse lemur (Phaner pallescens) as they emerge from their hiding places. In addition to lemurs, the Akiba Forest is also home to a variety of geckos, these fascinating reptiles that come to life at night. In addition, the forest is one of the best destinations for birdwatching such as the Giant Coua. In the evening, prepare for a nocturnal adventure that will unveil the hidden wonders of Kirindy Forest. Venture into the dense undergrowth, guided by your local guide, and keep your eyes peeled for the elusive fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox), the apex predator of Madagascar. Another fascinating creature to look for is the Malagasy Giant rat (Hypogeomys antimena). This large road is capable of leaping incredible distances, making it a difficult target for predators. Day 11: Nature's Masterpiece - Sunset at the Baobab Avenue
