Day 1: Entebbe - Kibale Forest

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), you will be met and warmly received by your driver guide and drive to Kibale Forest through the scenic beautiful views between Kampala & Fort Portal without missing the scenic beautiful tea plantations on your way. Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species, including chimps, baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, and the L'Hoest monkey. Dinner and overnight will be at Chimpanzee Guest House.

Day 2: Kibale Forest

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters at Kanyachu where the park rangers will brief you about chimpanzee tracking. After this, in the company of the ranger guide, you will set out into the forest to look for the chimpanzee which is the closest friends and relative to man. Then in the afternoon, you will head to Bigodi Swamp. It is considered as one of the bird watchers’ paradise since it has many types of birds and monkeys that are mainly seen in the swamp. Dinner and overnight will be at Chimpanzee Guest House.

Day 3: Kibale Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will be transferred to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your way, you will pass the equator where you will make a stop. You will go for a game drive in the afternoon at Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the best places in Uganda to see lions. Here, there is a possibility of seeing elephants, lions, many hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, and leopards. Dinner and overnight will be at Simba Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Entebbe

You will go for a game drive in the morning and have a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. The Kazinga Channel is one of the highlights of Uganda and has the highest concentration of hippos in the world. Before your flight, you will have a full day excursion in Entebbe, you will visit the Banga Beach and eat fish as your lunch, then proceed to the airport.

Walinah Ellis
Walinah, aged 31, grew up in Kasese. He has been guiding for over six years now, and started as an informal guide from his humble background doing small village cultural excursion around his home area in Kasese for tourists who were interested in getting an insight in his tribal group, the Bakonzo. He is a tour guide and professional driver leading groups to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Rwenzori Mountain National Park, Semuliki National Park, and Murchison Fall National Park.
Kyombe Deo
Kyombe Deo, aged 49, is an experienced guide with over 21 years in chimpanzee trekking and community habituations. As a proffessional chimpanzee guide, he draws his experience from Kidepo National Park, Murchision Falls National Park, and Queen Elizabeth National Park. During his free time, he likes being around chimpanzees and trekking their movements from the morning to the evening.
Remmy Kityo
Remmy Kityo, aged 35, is a passionate tour guide and professional driver with over ten years of experience in primate trekking, birdwatching, cycling, and community walks, and habituation. His experience cuts across borders covering the entire East Africa's best national parks and all tourism attractions the east has to offer. Being with a passion for nature has helped him to connect with people from diverse cultures. Finally, he is a jolly person and always feels privileged to take people on safari.


This safari will take place at Kibale National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda.

You can book your flight to arrive at Entebbe International Airport (EBB). From there, MAK Global Consults Tours & Travel will arrange a transportation for you.
