Day 1

On this day, your tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation at 08:30 and you will head towards the Namib-Naukluft National Park, traveling over the Khomas Hochland and down the steep gradients of the Gamsberg Pass, sometimes called as “Namibia’s Garden Route”.

You will begin to see the first of game species like springbok, ostrich, and oryx. Here, you will spend 2 nights on the outskirts of the park on a Guest Farm with a spectacular view to watch the sunset with a sundowner. On this day, you will be served lunch and dinner.

Day 2

On pre-dawn, you will depart to the entrance gates to Sossusvlei. You will have nice opportunities to stop on the way next to the road for beautiful photographic moments capturing the sunrise on the Dunes. A climb up the sand dunes will give a superb view up and down of the Tsaucab River Canyon which forms the valley between the famous sand dunes. Your guide will set up breakfast and prepare coffee at the bottom of the dune.

After breakfast, you will take a short drive to the parking lot where you will undertake a 2-hour walk through to the beautiful Hiddenvlei in the Sossusvlei area. You will stop for lunch at Sesriem Camp, after which you will go and explore the Sesriem Canyon by foot, before heading back to the guest farm.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will travel via the Kuiseb Canyon, home to two Germans and their dog for two years during World War 2. You will also have a chance to visit the Walvis Bay lagoon, famous for its large numbers of flamingos. It’s a 5-hour scenic drive to the coast, arriving in Swakopmund for the next 2 nights.

Day 4

This is an optional activity day. After breakfast, you will have an opportunity to partake in optional adventure activities. If you do not feel adventurous you can do shopping or visit some of the town's tourist destinations by foot.

Day 5

After a relaxing start and breakfast, you will depart back to Windhoek, stopping for last minute craft shopping at the craft town of Okahandja. This is the end of your tour.

Your safari tour will take place in Namib-Naukluft National Park and Swakopmund, Namibia. You will also visit the spectacular Dune 45, Hiddenvlei, Sesriem Canyon, and Walvis Bay Lagoon.

You will be served daily breakfast, while lunch will be served only on the first and second day, and dinner on the first day. Meals can be served either at restaurants or your tour guide will cook and prepare the meals on open fire or gas stove. The tour leader, with your assistance, will do they best to prepare a variety of dishes for you including vegetarian and other dietary requirements.

For breakfast, you can expect cereals and milk with bread / toast, jam, yogurt, muesli, and fruit with coffee and tea or the occasional cooked breakfast.
