Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Meet and greet with your guide / driver at 07:00 at your hotel and embark on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Make a stopover at the equator crossing for photography and another stop at the famous cultural center at Igongo Village to share and learn about the Ankole culture and museum. Have lunch at the Igongo restaurant and thereafter drive on to the park arriving in the evening for a sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Simba Safari Camp (budget), Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge (moderate), Mweya Safari Lodge (luxury). The meal plan is breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have an early breakfast or have it packed to enjoy during the game drive in search of wildlife. The highlights of the game drive include lions, elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda Kob among others. Remember that there is no guarantee that you will see all the animals because the wild is unpredictable. After lunch, you will go for a relaxed boat launch on the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, lots of birds, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Simba Safari Camp (budget), Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge (moderate), Mweya Safari Lodge (luxury). The meal plan is breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala
You will have breakfast and depart to Kampala with photograph stopovers along the way and lunch en route. Arrive at Kampala in the late evening and dropped off at a place of your choice.
You will have an excursion to Igongo Village to learn about Ankole culture on the first day.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in western Uganda and well-endowed with a diverse ecosystem which includes sprawling savanna and humid forests which make it an ideal habitat for the big game like elephants, lions, warthogs, buffalo, hyenas, and Uganda kobs besides various primate species and hundreds of bird species.
