Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up by your professional guide and depart the Nairobi region for Maasai Mara with lunch en route. You drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will have a chance to take photos with a great view of the valley.

Proceed to the Maasai Mara National Reserve lunch at Narok town. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. On arrival proceed for an evening game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at a camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara full day

After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya holiday. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five, and a rich cultural heritage to explore.

Kenya’s Masai Mara is without a doubt one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa. Between July and October, things get busy in the Great Migration. Millions of zebra and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. And in their wake comes a veritable horde of predators including lion and leopard.

Your guide will make sure that you get the best photographic opportunities as well as enrich you with the different amazing cultural practices of the local communities of the Maasai people. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi

Early in the morning, you will have a short game drive in the park. Later, the driver will drop you at the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara region to Nairobi with lunch en route. You will be taken to a Nairobi hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Nairobi - Arusha

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be dropped off by the shuttle bus to Arusha through the Namanga border for immigration formalities. After the immigration process, the journey continues to Arusha town, arriving in the afternoon. A tour manager will pick you up from the bus stop and drop you off at a hotel booked on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Dinner on your own.

Day 5: Arusha - Serengeti

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha, then safari briefing, and afterward, you depart Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park. You will have lunch on the way.

Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. Annually from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. As the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals stalk them. Dinner and overnight at Seronera camp.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, a short game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch, until noon, where you will have again game drive to see the beauty of this great Park. In the afternoon after lunch, game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at Simba camp.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After early breakfast around 05:50 a.m., descend down the crater at 6 a.m. for a 6-7 hours of game drive with a picnic lunch. You venture onto the crater floor for an up-close at the residents of this World Heritage Site and enjoy a picnic lunch here.

The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. Later, depart for Arusha with lunch en-route arriving in Arusha town late evening you will be dropped off at Arusha airport or your Arusha hotel.
