Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and then depart to Lake Manyara with lunch en route. Proceed to Lake Manyara for a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos.
Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two-thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley, before which lies the groundwater forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the soda lake. You enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, which consists of open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides.
Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise that has more than 350 species of birds. The park is also famed for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions.

Day 2: Lake Manyara - Serengeti
After breakfast, you head to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Afterward, you visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing.
Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals stalk their meals, you enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena. Dinner and overnight at the Seronera Camp.
Day 3: Serengeti full day
Today will be the “Serengeti game viewing day”. After breakfast, enjoy an amazing game drive. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here—look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, and lions. If you are there during the spectacular wildebeest migration, you will be more than astonished.
In the late afternoon, you venture out on another game drive. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys, and, yes, birds…but look closely and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard, and cheetah—watching the world go by. And go by it does. Rhino, gazelle, antelope, and massive elephants by the hundreds. Animals in the trees, flying, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers, and in streams.
Today you will venture more on migration first around Grumeti River, before proceeding for resident species then return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Seronera Camp. This is the adventure of a lifetime!
Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, go on a morning short game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch, until noon, where you will have again game drive to see the beauty of this great park. After lunch, game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at your Simba camp.
Day 5: Ngorongoro - Arusha
After early breakfast around 5:50 a.m., descend the crater at 6 a.m. for 6-7 hours of game drive with a picnic lunch. You venture onto the crater floor for an up-close at the residents of this World Heritage Site and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons.
Later, depart for Arusha with lunch en-route arriving early evening be dropped at your own Arusha hotel or airport. End of service.
