Seronera Campsite
One of the most frequented public campsites in the Seronera area is located a few kilometers east of the tourist information center. Although most of the campsites in the area are similar, it is one of few that are on level ground and well sheltered from winds, meaning fewer cold nights.
It is a tents-only camp with the only facilities provided being separate kitchen and dining areas, a water supply, along with modern toilets and bathrooms - with a separate side for men and women.

Simba A Campsite
One of the public campsites is inside the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is located on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater. It is the largest and most frequently used in the area, due to its proximity to the Loduare gate where most tourists come from, and the crater.
The name ‘public’ refers to the fact that more than one unrelated person or group can use it at the same time, no pre-booking is required, and there are facilities available such as a kitchen, toilets, and security. On the other hand, private campsites are exclusive.

Program
Day 1: Arusha - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you start on your way to Serengeti National Park, picnic lunch will be provided. On the way, you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum with artifacts from Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leaky made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. In the afternoon, you go on a game drive at Serengeti National Park. You'll stay overnight at Seronera Campsite.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
You will go for an early game drive. If you’re lucky, you will be able to see some cats like lions, lionesses, leopards, cheetahs, etc. returning from hunts or some action of them. You will drive back around 10:30 to put down tents and pack, then have a nice meal before departing.
You will do more game drives on your way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optional activities include a visit to Masai Boma if you are interested. You will stay overnight at Simba Campsite which is located on the rim of the crater.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast, you will go for an adventurous drive into the crater for a wonderful game drive and a picnic lunch next to the lake. Ngorongoro Crater belongs to World Heritage Sites and it’s a must-see. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater floor, Ngorongoro Crater has the highest diversity of animals worldwide.
Among the species are lions, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, hyenas, and black rhinos. After the game drive, you will up to the camp, pack your things, and drive out back to Arusha.
