For this safari tour, you will be provided with eight nights accommodation. On the first night of the tour, you will be staying overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge. For the second and third night, you will stay at &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. On the fourth and fifth night, you will stay at &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.
For the sixth, seventh, and eighth night, you have an option to choose from &Beyond Klein's Camp, &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas or &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp for an overnight stay. Also, you have an optional overnight stay to Mnemba Island Lodge before you board to your departure flight.
The aptly named Arusha Coffee Lodge lies hidden amongst the sprawling grounds of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation. You can enjoy scrumptious meals in the Coffee Lodge lounge or sip on their favorite drinks in the bar area. A boutique store, swimming pool, and garden terrace will surely add to your delight.
A stunning property with a series of rooms on stilts, set out amongst the forests to the west of Lake Manyara. As you drive down through Lake Manyara National Park there is a rapid change of environment from the natural forests in the north, to the barren, scrubby and boulder strewn regions further south.
Coming over a rocky rise you are then confronted with virgin forest once more, and it is in this cool and serene environment that Manyara Treelodge lies. Accommodation is in an elegant, stilted treehouse, which is cradled in the boughs of mahogany trees. Your room is built of timber and makuti (palm fronds) and has a spacious sitting area, viewing deck and a lovely en-suite bathroom.
Your accommodation in &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is in a suite with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The lodge is located in Tanzania on the edge of the world famous "World Heritage Site" of the Ngorongoro Crater. Surrounding the lodge, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans 8,300 square kilometres, stretching from the Rift Valley to the Serengeti.
The design follows the Maasai mud-and-stick manyatta (homestead) style. The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is without doubt one of the most architecturally spectacular safari lodges in Africa.
It is an African island paradise with just 10 guest cottages. The most amazing sites at Mnemba Island Lodge can be found in the water. And that's saying something, because the land part is amazing too. Off the coast of Zanzibar, the exclusive island (yes, that means it is just you, a few other guests, and the staff) is a romantic paradise of palm trees and white sand, surrounded by coral reefs and the bath-warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
Mnemba Island Lodge is situated on an exclusive island about three miles away from the northeastern tip of Zanzibar, off Tanzania, Africa. The lodge is accessible via a flight to Zanzibar International Airport, followed by a chauffeured 90-minute drive, and a 20-minute boat ride.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) a Kubwa Five Safaris representative will drive you to Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you will spend one night in a chalet. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis. The attractive little town is situated beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro.
Arusha, renowned as the safari capital of Tanzania, offers a range of attractions and adventures. The town has numerous first-class restaurants, bars, and markets to browse, and is the ideal place to spend a few relaxing days before embarking on a safari or attempting to scale Kilimanjaro.
Not to be missed is the Arusha National Park (in Ngurdoto Crater), the National Natural History Museum, the Laetoli Footprints (set in volcanic ash, dating back 3,500,000 years) and the beautiful coffee plantations, which dot the landscape.
After your early breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport (ARK) for your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. On arrival, you will be met by a Kubwa Five Safaris representative.
Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect.
The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes. A Lake Manyara safari is a fascinating experience as the park also features a ground-water forest, acacia tortilis woodland and hot springs called Maji Moto.
You will spend two nights at &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, and daily lodge activities.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before a scenic drive back to the Manyara airstrip. On arrival, you will be met by a representative from &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge who will drive you to the lodge.
The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, within the Serengeti, is home to more than 30,000 protected animals. It is an area of spectacular beauty and excellent game viewing, a truly unique safari destination in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. Some maintain that before it erupted, it would have been higher than Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.
Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600-meter deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth.
Fresh springs and a large soda lake quench the thirst of all the inhabitants. The black rhino is protected within its rim, giant-tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lions stalk the grasslands, and flamingos crowd the soda lakes.
You will spend two nights at &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.
Tuck into a sensational breakfast feast before your drive back to the Manyara Airstrip, for your scheduled flight to &Beyond Klein’s Camp, Serengeti Under Canvas or Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp.
The Serengeti National Park, meaning “endless plains” in the Masai language, is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas and is an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, filmmakers, and photographers. It is Tanzania’s oldest game reserve, renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration when an estimated three million antelope - mostly wildebeest - migrate to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.
The epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience and a wonderful photographic subject. The visitors to the park can roam its sprawling plains on exhilarating game drives or hop into a hot-air balloon ride for a once-in-a-lifetime wilderness adventure.
You will spend three nights at &Beyond Klein's Camp or &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas or &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.
Enjoy an early morning game drive and a tantalizing breakfast before being driven back to the airstrip, where you will wave a fond farewell as you board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your outbound flight.
But you have an option to add on a few nights at Mnemba Island Lodge, Zanzibar.
