It was a truly wonderful experience. A satisfying way to get close to the big five and take some good photos. You probably see more animals in Kruger, but the personal service and tracking abilities of the guides in Sabi Sands is superb. Some delays and misunderstandings on pick up and drop off transfers, but all was eventually resolved to our satisfaction.

Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable but relaxed and funny all at once. Accommodations in Kruger were nice and everything was close in. the food prepared by the guides was delicious and filling. The animals were everywhere. We had the opportunity to see a black rhino up close and a family of ground hornbills. Both very rare. Our stay in Sabi Sands was wonderful. The accommodations were spectacular, large, luxurious, and the staff willing and able to help out with every wish. The only thing we would have done differently was to take a six-day, five-night safari. It was a morning drive between Kruger and Sabi Sands, and with the drive the last day it would have been better to have an extra day in Sabi Sands. This was a trip of a lifetime. We will always remember the warm and welcoming staff and the experience they provided.

We started our trip at the Outlook Lodge in Joburg. Francois was an excellent and very accommodating host. Nsocko drove us to Skukuza Camp in Krueger National park, he was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and safe driver. two nights at Skukuza in a bungalow was sufficient, dining at the campground was fun and social. The safari guides were friendly and worked hard to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. Yusi drove us from Krueger to Sabi Sands - he was a bit rushed but drove us safely and was also friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed at Elephant Plains at Sabi Sands and it was a Luxury Lodge well beyond our expectations. The staff was great and the game drives were amazing and we were driven up close to the animals. I have a little concern that sometimes the animals were chased too much as there could be up to three vehicles at one time following the lions and leopards. Our guide Louie and Simone were great and we loved our time there. We had chosen to do the Blyde River Canyon trip on our last day prior to returning to Joburg - there was a miscommunication on our pick up time and meeting time with another guest. I recommend providing agendas at the beginning of the trip. I would not recommend The Blyde River trip as it is currently set up and we were driven very fast to the Canyon. We were given 20 minutes to look around, then on to Lisbon Falls where we had 15 minutes then quick lunch and a stop at Pilgrims rest. I suggest skipping Pilgrims rest and spending more time at the other sites. Guest should be told about how long the drive is and the limited time allotted for actually getting out of the van to see the sites. It was four hours of driving after Pilgrims rest due to our late start, our driver had to drive in the dark and it was very scary to the passengers. The Blyde River would be more enjoyable with two days. There appeared to be a couple of small towns with hotels that could provide better options for seeing this area. Overall, we had a fabulous trip. I will recommend this to my friends and colleagues.Special thanks to Francois, Vellum, Nsocko, and Siempeiwei.

We had a good trip and saw lots of animals. Our guide, Robin, was excellent at the guiding, but his culinary skills were questionable! Our biggest concern was that when he met us, he was very tired, as he had done a back to back safari and had only three hours sleep. Nobody in that state should be driving clients. He had no time to shop for food and was unprepared for our trip. Naturally, we helped him, but from the itinerary, we did not think that it included supermarket shopping. It was a very expensive safari and the Kruger part of the trip was very basic. Sabi Sands was terrific in every way. Robin really should have had an assistant to help with the driving and cooking. I am sure that if you look back at your records you will see at what time the previous clients arrived back in J'burg and then when we left for Kruger. It is a very long drive back, especially when stopping off at God's Window etc. He had no time to rest up for the next trip. Our transport was very unsuitable for viewing the game, but this was a last minute switch apparently. I hope that these comments have helped and I will be very interested to hear your reaction.

Exceeded expectations! Pickup at JNB and transfer to Outlodge Lodge was easy and quick. The Lodge is very nice and comfortable, but the staff made it special. They will do anything to make you feel at home. Robin guided us in Kruger where we saw four of the big five. Robin was tireless, knowledgeable, and very user-friendly. The chalet was clean and comfortable, and the food was good. Sabi Sand was even better! We stayed at Nkorho Bush Lodge. The Lodge has seven chalets and 32 employees to take care of you. The food was Excellent! Jason guided us every day and we saw the big five and more over and over.
