During this safari, you will have the chance to spot the African big five in Kruger National Park and another reserve nearby. South Africa is a vast country with many beautiful locations to see, that is why you will visit the Small Drakensberg mountain range, from which you will be able to marvel at stunning views and get amazing photographs to bring home with you!
During your safari holiday, you will stay for one night in comfortable bungalows in a camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa. The second night, you will stay at a lodge at a private game reserve, which can be either Sabi Sand, Timbavati, or Thornybush.
Leaving Nelspruit at 05:00 when the birds awaken, you will travel to Kruger National Park. At the park, you will eagerly seek out the 140 mammals that live there, as well as the big five that also reside in Kruger. After game spotting, you will be rewarded with a leisurely breakfast at one of Kruger’s idyllic picnic spots before you find your way to a camp in Kruger for a bit of well-deserved rest and relaxation in your bungalow.
After the break, you will head out on a three-hour night drive hosted by one of Kruger’s expert game rangers. Upon your return, you will experience a true South African braai under the beautiful African skies as the stars shine down creating the most stunning ambiance.
Today, you will rise as early as the animals after a fitful night sleep. You will make your way out the park over a three-hour period as you tick off those animals not yet spotted. The memories of Kruger will be firmly imprinted on your mind as you are welcomed to a stunning stay over in a private lodge situated in either Sabi Sand, Timbavati, or Thornybush.
Upon arrival, you will be given a truly royal welcome and experience the undeniable pleasure and true comfort of a game drive in an open 4 x 4 game vehicle that dares to get a lot closer to the game than in Kruger. Once game spotting is completed, you will retreat to your luxury accommodation and indulge in superb meals and discover a different outlook of conservation, noticing the differences in this reserve to that of Kruger.
After sleeping like royalty, you will wake up to the sounds of the animals beginning a new day. You will head out for a last early morning game drive or a game walk if possible. After, you will take a leisurely drive up into the Small Drakensberg mountain range, where you will enjoy exquisite sights of God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourkes Luck Potholes, and Blyde Canyon, the world’s third largest and only growing canyon.
Once you have captured the awesome sights on camera or video. You will have a well-deserved lunch at Harries Pancakes, famous for their delicious selection of mouth-watering pancakes. Please note that due to time constraints Blyde Canyon is only possible if time is on your side. You may do this part on the first day. Should there be plans to see other destinations, this could pose a time constraint. If possible, you can stay in Nelspruit once you have returned in the late afternoon.

The Kruger National Park is over 220 miles from north to south; it is impossible to see it all in one trip. To the west of the Kruger Park are a number of large private game reserves that share an unfenced border with the park. Together, the whole reserve is called the Greater Kruger National Park and it spans more than 2.2 million hectares of pristine wilderness.
On the first day, you will enjoy a breakfast at one of Kruger's picnic spots and a South African braai for dinner. On the second day, you will have superb meals at your accommodation. And finally, on the last day, you will taste the renowned pancake selection from Harries Pancakes.
A small animal farm ideal for kids parties, offering pony and horseback rides. They will be opening their doors to the public in June 2017. The idea of the ranch is to give rescued farm animals a home filled with love and passion.
You can get involved with the ranch and help with maintenance, grooming, feeding, and training the animals. Pony rides and horseback rides are already available. The cost for one person is 400 ZAR, 600 ZAR for two persons, 800 ZAR for three persons, and 900 ZAR for four persons. You can request quotations for larger parties.
All levels of experience are welcome. Children with a background of riding lessons of three or more years and older than eight will be allowed on outrides by themselves. Kids from the age of three can be walked with. Full price will be applicable for kids.
Pony rides are available for kids from age two. The cost is 120 ZAR for 45 minutes. Paddock work for 15 minutes costs 50 ZAR per child, the minimum is two children. Rides need to be pre-booked. The maximum weight allowed is 95 kilograms per person.
Spa treatments and massages are available for an additional cost at Old Vic Traveller's Inn, in Nelspruit.

You can take the airport taxi bus, which costs 350 ZAR for one or two persons, one-way trip.
