Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Imbali Safari Lodge

Guests arrive at Johannesburg International Airport for a flight to Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit. Then they are transferred by road to the lodge. Check-in is at 2:00 pm at the lodge. Lunch will be served at the lodge after a welcome drink.

Afternoon: Embark on the first game drive in the private concession within the Kruger National Park to explore and observe local wildlife in their natural environment. The guided adventure provides insights into animal behaviors. Following the excursion, guests return to the lodge for a delightful dinner, creating a perfect blend of thrilling safari experiences and relaxed evenings in the heart of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Morning exploration and afternoon relaxation at Imbali Safari Lodge

Morning: The day begins with an exhilarating morning game drive, strategically planned to capitalize on peak wildlife activity. Guests embark on a safari adventure, guided by experienced professionals, providing a chance to witness and capture the beauty of wildlife in their natural habitat. Following the game drive, a delightful breakfast at the lodge awaits.

Afternoon: Lunch is served at the lodge, presenting a culinary journey that complements the day’s adventures. Post-lunch, guests have the freedom to enjoy the lodge’s facilities, including a well-equipped gym, a refreshing pool, and a rejuvenating spa. Day 3: Adventure in Kruger National Park from Imbali Safari Lodge

Morning: Start the day with breakfast at the lodge, followed by the Kruger National Park Tour. This majestic national park has thousands of wildlife species including the famous big five. Other animals like Impala, Wildebeests, and Zebras are widespread.

Afternoon: Return to the lodge, where guests have free time to relax and unwind. The day concludes with a delightful dinner at the lodge, offering a perfect combination of exploration and relaxation in the heart of the African wilderness.

Day 4: Last game drive and transfer to Cape Milner

Morning: Conclude the stay with a final morning game drive in the private concession, capturing the last glimpses of wildlife. Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, followed by check-out and a fond farewell. Transfer to Eastgate Airport by road for a flight to Capetown International Airport then to Cape Milner Hotel by road.

Upon arrival at Cape Milner, check in and have free time to explore the surroundings. The day concludes with a delightful dinner at Cape Milner, offering a seamless transition from the morning’s safari adventure to an evening of relaxation and exploration in a new setting.

Day 5: Cape Peninsula Tour

Morning: Breakfast at Cape Milner Hotel. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. Then, embark on a full-day Cape Peninsula tour. Visit Hout Bay, the Cape of Good Hope, and see the African penguins at Boulders Beach. Have lunch at a seaside restaurant in Kalk Bay, enjoying fresh seafood and scenic views. Return to the hotel, freshen up, and relax. Head to the vibrant V&A Waterfront for dinner. Explore shops, dine at a waterfront restaurant, and soak in the lively atmosphere.

Day 6: Robben Island and city exploration

Take a morning ferry to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the former prison where Nelson Mandela was held captive. Return to V&A Waterfront for lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants. Visit Greenmarket Square, Company’s Garden, and Long Street for shopping and cultural experiences. Head to Signal Hill for a panoramic view of the city and sunset. Capture stunning photographs of Cape Town at dusk. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a top-rated restaurant in Cape Town.

Day 7: Farewell and checkout

Guests have a free morning to enjoy the facilities. The stay concludes with a checkout and a fond farewell. Departure: Check out and bid farewell to the hotel staff, taking with you cherished memories of an incredible safari experience in South Africa. You will be transferred by road to Cape Town International Airport.
