Day 1 - Arrival at Tshukudu Game Lodge
Knap Tours' guests will arrive at Johannesburg International Airport for a short 45-minute flight to Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit. Then, they are transferred by road to the lodge. Check-in will be at 14:00 at the lodge. Depending on the time of arrival, lunch will be served at the lodge after a welcome drink.
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the lodge's swimming pool or at the spa to unwind after your journey. Indulge in a delicious dinner at the lodge's restaurant, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the African bush.
Day 2 - Safari experience at Tshukudu Game Lodge
Morning:
Embark on an early morning game drive at Tshukudu Private Game Reserve, led by experienced guides. Witness the sunrise over the reserve and spot the diverse wildlife.
Afternoon:
Return to the lodge for lunch and leisure time to enjoy the lodge facilities.
Late afternoon:
Participate in an afternoon-guided nature walk, providing a unique perspective on the smaller flora and fauna of the reserve.
Evening:
Have dinner at the lodge, sharing stories of the day's wildlife encounters around a campfire.
Day 3 - Kruger National Park safari
Early morning:
Depart for a full-day safari adventure in Kruger National Park. Experience the vastness of this iconic park, renowned for its abundance of wildlife. The guide will carry breakfast for all the guests.
Afternoon:
Picnic lunch (at your own cost) within the park. There are points where food is sold inside the park.
Late afternoon:
Continue exploring Kruger National Park on an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge.
Evening:
Have dinner at the lodge, sharing the day's experiences under the starlit African sky.
Day 4 - Mohoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Morning:
After breakfast, head to Mohoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre for a guided tour. Learn about the rehabilitation efforts and conservation initiatives while interacting with rescued animals.
Afternoon:
Return to Tshukudu Game Lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Late afternoon:
Enjoy a late afternoon game drive in Tshukudu Private Game Reserve, exploring different areas and encountering more wildlife.
Evening:
Have dinner at the lodge, accompanied by the sounds of the African night.
Day 5 - Departure to Johannesburg international airport
Morning:
Enjoy an early morning safari and breakfast at Tshukudu Game Lodge before departure.
Departure:
Check out and bid farewell to the lodge staff, taking with you cherished memories of an incredible safari experience in South Africa. You will be transferred by road to Eastgate Airport for a flight to Johannesburg.
