Accommodation

You will stay in various accommodations along the journey to the various national parks in Kenya:

Voi Wildlife Lodge

Perched on the top of a cliff-faced hill, Voi Safari Lodge is uniquely designed to be a hinge-like structure overlooking Kenya's Tsavo East plains extending as far as the undulating terrain of the Yatta Plateaus. This vantage positioning of the lodge has made it a stopover for many safari adventures, nature lovers, and holidaymakers who are assured of sampling Kenya's wildlife attractions that continuously beat a track to the three water holes sunk by the ledge below the cliff.

The lodge is also popular with the travelers who pass along the Mombasa - Nairobi highway. It is located 165 kilometers from Mombasa and has the advantage of being within a park that is served with a good infrastructure including communication facilities. Voi Safari Lodge has 52 en-suite standard rooms with three stories and stands in proud contrast to its rocky surroundings.

Voi Safari Lodge's swimming pool has a view of wildlife at the waterholes and the plains beyond. The unique dug up rock swimming pool has crystal clear water which invites to a refreshing dip after a dusty day on Kenya safari. Voi Safari Lodge also has a restaurant serving good food on a buffet basis and a well-stocked bar with smashing views. The surroundings of the lodge are dotted by wild and planted flora that stand out beautifully and liven up the rocky terrain.

Sarova Salt Lick Lodge

Set within the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, this remote hotel perched on stilts overlooking open plains is 10 km from the A23 road. Humble rooms with ceiling fans feature tea and coffeemaking facilities, safes and mosquito nets.

Amenities include a casual restaurant offering floor-to-ceiling windows, plus a bar with a terrace. Outdoor, wilderness dining options can be arranged. There's also a spa. Guided safaris and nature hikes are available. Event space is offered.

Ol Tukai Lodge

The essence of Africa Ol Tukai Lodge is one of the best spots in the world to watch elephant with the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Writers have described Ol Tukai and the surrounding Amboseli National Park as a 'home for the Gods.’ Ol Tukai is an eco-rated lodge having excellent outdoor and indoor facilities with its unique collection of African art. The property receives overwhelming response from the international and local tourism market.

Sopa Lodge Naivasha

Set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to the resident giraffes, waterbucks, and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys. It is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on the expansive lawns.

With Sopa’s traditional and conscientious care for the environment, all the buildings have been carefully positioned on the property no trees were cut. As a result of this, the lodge had to come up with a radically innovative and artistic design for the main public area building which now snakes its way between the trees with long and graceful curves. For this reason, the two swimming pools with a children’s section and a pool complex with its bar, snack kitchen, pizzeria, health spa, tennis court, two conference halls with their four differently sized meeting areas, and stables are so widely set apart.

Other facilities in the lodge include sundowners, a gift shop, board games, outdoor dining, free Wi-Fi, sauna, and wheelchair accessible rooms. Rooms include bedroom kettles, hairdryers, telephones, and a television. The lodge also has adjoining rooms, babysitting services, laundry, and turndown service. Other activities you may want to indulge in at the lodge are fishing, horse riding, birdwatching, and nature walks.

Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park. A short two-hour drive from Nairobi, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is a favorite with residents and visitors to Kenya.

The Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is cleverly laid out in such a way that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the lake and the park. The lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways, and greens dotted with bird feeds. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge accommodation, beautiful scenery, and cozy atmosphere will bring relaxation to your soul immediately. The lodge is presently considered one of the best Great Rift Valley Lodges in Kenya. It has a dining area and a relaxing spa.

Ashnil Mara Camp

Ashnil Mara Camp, with 50 luxury tents, is located in the Masai Mara National Reserve and close to the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration. This luxury Masai Mara camp is arguably in one of the very best positions in the Masai Mara for game viewing and also provides the perfect setting to sit and relax at the end of a exciting day of game drives. The Ashnil Mara Camp is a four to five hour drive from Nairobi.

Sarova Mara Game Camp

The rolling plains around the camp teem with wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras during the migration months, and the camp is situated right in the center of their migration path. By virtue of its location and layout, the camp offers an unparalleled plethora of activities and experiences from luxury tented living to bird-watching, mini golf, sport fishing, and a unique insight into the Maasai culture at the adjoining Maasai village.
