This trip takes you to Amboseli, the home of elephants and crowned as Africa’s highest peak. Amboseli means salty dust. It is one of the national parks with very huge herds of elephants. It is surrounded by the Maasai community where you can visit and learn some Maasai language and also dance with them. Maasai Mara is a great national reserve as well with over 400 species of birds and wild animals. Maasai Mara is great for the wildebeest and zebra migrations. It is home for the big 5 too. The safari offers you the opportunity to view very many species of birds and a guaranteed view of the big 5.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel. You will clear the cost of the safari and the guide will give you your receipt. You will then proceed with the safari with a stopover to view the walls of the Great Rift Valley and another one for lunch. You will later arrive at Masai Mara and proceed for an evening game drive that will help you spot some wild animals in the park. You will later embark in the lodge for your night and dinner.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

You will have your breakfast and then proceed for the morning game drive with packed lunch. All the animals are very active at this time trying to catch their prey while they're grazing. You might be lucky to view the big cats feeding on meat or trying to catch other animals for food. You will be able to view the gazelles and other animals too grazing. Afterwards you will have your lunch and you will proceed to the hot air balloons where you will be able to view the wild animals from above. You will later embark to the lodge for the night and dinner

Day 3: Maasai Mara

You will have your breakfast in the morning and then proceed for the morning game drive. You will be able to capture a lot of beautiful sceneries. You will enjoy another day of seeing more wild animals on the daily busy routines. After having your packed lunch, you will proceed to the Maasai village to learn how their community works. You will also dance and buy different handmade attires by them. Afterwards you will embark to the lodge for the night with dinner.

Day 4: Maasai Mara

You will have your breakfast and then you will proceed to the national park for the morning game drive. After the game drive, you will have your lunch and you will proceed for game watching at the Mara River, where you will be able to view the migration of the wildebeest and the zebras. You will be able to watch as the animals cross the river and the crocodiles wait strategically to grab them for food. It will be an awesome and satisfying moment. You will afterwards arrive at your lodge for the night.

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Amboseli

After your breakfast, you will proceed for the morning game drive. After the game drive, you will proceed to Amboseli National Park. You will have your lunch first before proceeding for another game drive at Amboseli. You will be able to see large herds of elephants at Amboseli. Arrive at the lodge for the night.

Day 6: Amboseli

You will have your breakfast and later proceed for the morning game drive. You will go for the game watching, where you will be able to view the big 5 after your lunch. In the evening you will have another game drive enroute to the lodge for the night.

Day 7: Amboseli to Nairobi

You will have your breakfast as you enjoy the scenic view, after your breakfast, you will start your journey back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped at the place of your choice.
