Program

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your driver-guide reports to your hotel for start of the safari, with departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. You will be in your own private and exclusive 4x4 landcruiser safari vehicle or 4x4 safari van.

You will stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the largest valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3:30 p.m., allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as lion, leopard, and cheetah to rhino, elephant and wildebeest.

The driver-guide will try his best to show you not just the ''Big Five'' animals but the ''Big Nine'' as well. Return to your tented camp. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Game Camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara

You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6:15 a.m. to 9 a.m., before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active.

As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full day game drive (one for the whole day) with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost.

Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Game Camp or similar.

Day 3: Masai Mara

Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6:15 a.m. safari game drive during which you will see more of the Mara’s great wildlife. Arrive at the camp late morning, for check in after which you enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3:30 p.m., allowing you to explore further lying parts of the park.

You then return back to your camp by 5 p.m. in time for tea or coffee. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Game Camp or similar.

Day 4: Masai Mara

You may choose to have a morning and afternoon game drive or even head out to the reserve for a long day game excursion with a packed picnic lunch.

Enjoy your afternoon safari game drive in the reserve during which you hopefully get to spot any of your favorite animals which you may have missed seeing so far during the trip.

Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Game Camp or similar.

Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi

At the break of dawn you embark on your concluding game drive in Masai Mara followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check out by 10 a.m. for a return road transfer for Nairobi. Optional one way flight back to Nairobi available at additional cost. Arrive in Nairobi by early afternoon (typically by 3 p.m.).
