This 5-day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru camping safari takes you to the largest national park and the most famous in Kenya, Maasai Mara. It is the northern continuation of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Maasai Mara is popular due to the annual wildebeest migration and for the Big 5: Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards, and Rhinos. Hippos, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Warthogs, Hyenas, Jackals, Wild dogs, and many kinds of Antelopes also roam in plenty in Maasai Mara. Lake Nakuru's main attractions are the Pink flamingos and the white rhinos. There is plenty of wildlife which includes lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, monkeys, gazelles, zebras, and antelopes.

Program
Day 1: Nairobi - Masaai Mara
Pick up from your hotel for a journey south along the Great Rift Valley. Lunch at Narok and then climb the western wall entering Hemingway’s country “Serengeti Plains.” Arrive in the afternoon for an evening game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 2: Full day exploring Masaai Mara
A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree-studded grassland, and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard, and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and overnight in the campsite.
Day 3: Full day exploring Masaai Mara
After early morning breakfast, leave the camp for a morning game drive until lunchtime and then return to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon, there's an optional nature walk or a visit to a nearby Maasai village. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Masaai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Pre-breakfast game drive in the park, return to the campsite for late breakfast, then leave Masaai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch served en route. Arrive in Nakuru for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi City
After early morning breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Leave Nakuru after lunch back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon.

Starting from Nairobi, this safari will take you to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park before returning to Nairobi.
Food
The package includes three meals a day while on safari.
The food on safari is delicious and ranges from simple to gourmet. You can expect lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and wonderful homemade soups. Chicken, lamb, beef, or pork are usually served at lunch and dinner as well as fish and vegetarian dishes. Breakfast is a buffet with lots of tropical fruits, hot and cold cereals, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, bread and pastries, and eggs to order. Lunch can be either buffet or served at the table and always starts with soup. Dinner is usually a 4 or 5-course sit-down affair, although there is no need to dress up. Often your safari guide will join you at meals as you recall your day's events.
