Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
On arrival at JKIA International Airport or pick up at your hotel, you will be met by a tour representative and briefed on your safari. You'll then depart towards the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery, and have a stopover at the viewpoint en route. Proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride at the lake. Afterward, depart for Lake Nakuru or the pink lake as it's often referred to due to its great masses of flamingos.
You'll check in at Lanet Matfam. After lunch, proceed for a game drive in the park with numerous animals. During the game drive you will see the huge numbers of flamingos that are concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the birdlife for which Lake Nakuru is so well known.
There are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, black rhino, white rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala, and waterbuck. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lanet Matfarm Resort.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru full day
On this day, you'll have an early morning game drive before breakfast and perhaps see a leopard, lion, buffalo, rhino, or a rare Rothschild's giraffe. Hippos can also be sighted around the lake. It is also a paradise for birdwatchers. Later on, you'll have breakfast at the budget camp. You'll spend the rest of the afternoon gazing at the view of the lake from the comfort of the elegant tent. You can as well relax by the infinity pool with a cold drink just before lunch and have a soothing massage in the spa before heading out at 4 p.m. for an evening game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lanet Matfam Resort.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
You'll have an early breakfast and check out. Depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, which is on the south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Proceed past Narok, climb the western wall entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti plains''. You'll arrive in time for lunch at Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Rhino tourist camp.
Day 4: Full day at Masai Mara
This day will be spent at this famous reserve searching for wild games with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You'll have an early morning game drive before breakfast, then return and have breakfast. Lunch will be at the luxury camp. A visit to Maasai village is also an option.
Lions are abundant in the park, as well as elephants, giraffes, a variety of gazelle species, and zebras. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhinos.
The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September when the big animals and their predators are present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara's birds, are in the reserve.
Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park, the Morans. You'll have an evening game drive and return to the Rhino tourist camp. for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi
You'll have breakfast at the luxury camp then depart for Nairobi having a game drive en route. A stop is provided at Narok Town for lunch in the Maasai city where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs. On arrival in Nairobi, you'll be transferred to the airport for your international departure or to your hotel.
