Lake Nakuru Safari in Kenya

You will be accommodated at a lodge found at the Lake Nakuru National Park.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru national park

You will be picked from the hotel by our company representative and be briefed about your safari. Depart from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru which is approximately 170 kilometers. A stopover will be at Great Rift Valley and have a view of the Rift Valley escarpment. Continue with your journey to Lake Nakuru at the cliff camp.

Check-in and have your lunch upon arrival. After relaxing and familiarizing yourself with the environment, proceed with your game drive across the pink lake. You might spot the famous white rhino and black rhino as well as other big five, hyenas, baboons, later in the evening head back to the camp and have your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru national park full day

Have an early morning game drive that will enable you to spot animals that are diurnal ready to hunt their prey, return back to camp for your heavy breakfast. Head back to the park after your breakfast. Here you will search for the numerous species of wildlife found at the lake. There are also numerous bird species that you can spot. During the lunch hour, you will head back for your lunch and proceed with your game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the camp.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Wake up to an early morning game drive, spot all different types of animals that you might have not seen the head back to the pack and have your breakfast and check out in the park. Depart back to Nairobi and you will be dropped at the place of your preference.

Location

Lake Nakuru National Park is located approximately 160 kilometers away from Nairobi. It is one of the top tourist destinations in Africa, famed for both lesser and greater flamingos. The park has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is home to the greatest concentration of black rhinos in the world. It also has a thriving population of white rhinos and it is a sanctuary for the rare Rothschild giraffe and the best place to see leopards.

Food

During the safari, you will be provided with three meals and one liter of water per day. Regular food like beef, fish, and chicken will be served.
