Voi Wildlife Lodge

Officially opened in 2003, the lodge is situated on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops, such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills. Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game, including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo as well as a rich variety of birdlife.

Accommodating up to 300 guests, all rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms and are furnished in African decor that is replicated throughout the lodge. The luxury rooms comprise two four-poster beds and views of the Savannah, which one can enjoy from the comfort of one’s balcony or terrace.

Program

Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park and game drives

Pick up from the hotel or airport and drive to Tsavo East National Park using the Mombasa Nairobi Trans- African highway. Check in the lodge in time for lunch then relax when you are watching wildlife animal when the are drinking water from the water pool. Then in the evening you proceed for game drive using the Voi main gate and start the game drives till 6 p.m. Here you get a chance to see different wild animals especially giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lots of elephants and if you're lucky see the big cats. Later dinner and rest. Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge.

Day 2: Full game drive in Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast you will start game drive en-route where you visit the different sections of the park especially the loop side of the park which is swampy and most animals are found there. Visit the pipeline area where most of the elephants are concentrated since there are lots of water holes to do mud bathing. Later visit the Luggard falls and Yatta Plateau. Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge.

Day 3: Early morning game drive and depart to Mombasa

Early morning game drive to capture the sun rise and also it’s a good chance to see the big cats either hunting or hunted and feasting on a kill especially lions. Later breakfast and depart to Mombasa using the Voi Mombasa highway or to Nairobi.
