Kenya Safari in Masai Mara

The Kenya safari takes you to Maasai Mara for 3 days. Maasai Mara lies on the Rift Valley of Kenya. The Mara is a large National reserve located in Narok and it is next to Serengeti National park. It was named after the Maasai people. Maasai Mara contains over 500 species of birds and very many wild animals including the Big 5 which are lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, and the giraffe. You will stay at a safari camp arranged by Kenya Tour Budget Safari.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel. You will finish the payment and then proceed with the journey to Maasai Mara with a stopover to view the walls of the Great Rift Valley. You will have another stopover for lunch and then proceed with the journey where you will enjoy an evening game drive at Maasai Mara before heading back to the camp for dinner and the night.

Day 2: Maasai Mara full day

You will have an early morning breakfast and then you will proceed for the morning game drive. This is the most effective game drive as it gives you an opportunity to view animals at their most active time of the day. It is at this time that you may be lucky to see animals feeding.

You will get to see the zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, and many more grazing. You will also be able to view the big cats trying to catch their prey or even feeding on meat. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy other activities as well as a break for lunch. You will have another evening game drive en route to the camp for dinner and the night.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

You will have your breakfast very early and then you will proceed for the morning game drive en route to Nairobi. You will have a stopover for lunch before proceeding with the journey. You will be dropped at your place of choice back in Nairobi.

Food

Full board meals will be provided during the safari. Drinking water is also provided.

The food on safari is delicious and ranges from simple to gourmet. You can expect lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and wonderful homemade soups. Chicken, lamb, beef, or pork are usually served at lunch and dinner as well as fish and vegetarian dishes. Breakfast is a buffet with lots of tropical fruits, hot and cold cereals, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, bread and pastries, and eggs to order. Lunch can be either buffet or served at the table and always starts with soup. Dinner is usually a 4 or 5-course sit-down affair, although there is no need to dress up. Often your safari guide will join you at meals as you recall your day's events.
