Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Early in the morning you will be met by the representative who will brief you on the safari before departing to Samburu National Reserve, crossing the thorny landscape of Samburu County. Samburu National Reserve is known for the presence of unique species such as Grevy’s zebra, the long-necked gerenuk, among the wildlife that shares this semi-arid habitat. Arrive in Samburu on time for lunch. After lunch proceed for afternoon game drive in search of wildlife such as reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, and the blue-necked Somalia ostrich. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
The whole day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, it gives you the refreshment of your mind as the reserve is not populated and not many people visits here. Its home to the big five, elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, endangered wild dog as well as pancake tortoise - endangered. There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species in the Ewaso Nyiro River including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. The whole day will be spent exploring the park for the whole day on a game drive. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve - Nairobi
Early morning game drive and then proceed to the lodge for the breakfast and drive back to Nairobi. Arriving in Nairobi in the evening. This is where the safari ends.
