Rhino Tourist Tented Camp (2 nights)

Located on the slopes of the Oloolamuita Hills, this Maasai Mara accommodation offers magnificent views across the eastern reaches of the park. The camp is one kilometer from Ololaimutia Gate and seven kilometers from Sekenani Gate.

The campsite has a total of 70 rooms with the option of single, double, triple, and family occupancy. There are 30 rooms made of stone for guests. The walled rooms are meant for guests who worry about their security and those traveling with children. The remaining units are tented rooms ideal for travelers looking to be true to the wild experience.

The tents are linked by a pathway neatly framed by well-maintained flower bushes, manicured lawns, and flanked by indigenous trees.

The rooms are fronted by a private veranda ideal for relaxing and giving one the feeling of truly experiencing the tranquility of the bush. Each suite is fitted with mosquito nets and an ensuite bathroom with showers, flush toilets, and a washbasin.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at a viewpoint for breathtaking photos. Continue through the Maasai land and arrive at the camp in time for lunch.

Relax at the camp before heading out for an evening game drive in Maasai Mara, where you will have the first glimpse of the reserve’s abundant wildlife. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay in tents under the starlit sky.

Day 2: Full-day game drive in Maasai Mara

After an early breakfast, set off for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. Explore the vast plains of Maasai Mara, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest.

Visit the Mara River, a prime location to witness hippos, crocodiles, and, if in season, the Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Optional visit to a Maasai village to experience their unique culture and traditions (additional cost). Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

Have an early breakfast and then check out from the accommodation. Embark on an en route game drive to spot wildlife. Drive back to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch along the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of the safari.
