During this safari, you will discover and explore the infamous national parks in northern Tanzania that are renowned as the best destination for safari wherein the possibility of seeing the Big Five is immense. You will be staying in various accommodations provided by Kenya Safari Planners. You will be accommodated at Migunga Tented Camp (tented camp) or Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge (standard lodge) on the first night. Then, you will be staying at Ikoma Tented Camp (tented camp) or Seronera Wildlife Lodge (standard lodge) on the second and the third night. Moreover, on the fourth night, you will be accommodated at Crater Forest Tented Camp (tented camp) or Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge (standard lodge).
You will depart from your hotel in Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in its size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers the two-third area of the national park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley area wherein lies the ground-watered forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the soda lake. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in this area which consists of open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides. Furthermore, Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise that has more than 350 species of bird. The park is also famed for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight will be at Migunga Tented Camp (tented camp) or Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge (standard lodge).
You will proceed to Olduvai Gorge that is also known as the Cradle of Humankind. It was in the Great Rift Valley area that the remains of early hominids dating back two million years were uncovered. Afterwards, you will visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, Serengeti National Park. The word “serengeti” means “endless plains” which describes the park’s 5,600 square miles boundary. Yet, for its sprawling area, the Serengeti plains does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. The Serengeti ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth. Dinner and overnight will be at Ikoma Tented Camp (tented camp) or Seronera Wildlife Lodge (standard lodge).
You will embark on an encore game drive in the expansive Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti National Park boasts one of the most varied collections of wildlife on the planet. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration which brings them from Central Serengeti to Kenya’s Maasai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the downtime, the vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo as the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals stalk their meals. Dinner and overnight will be at Ikoma Tented Camp (tented camp) or Seronera Wildlife Lodge (standard lodge). Today, you can also add an optional hot air balloon ride with the safari.
You will depart from Serengeti National Park to visit the largest intact volcanic crater in the world, the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. At more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter, Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. There are 30,000 animals that make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the Big Five which are the lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and leopards. This truly world-class attraction is also known as the eighth Wonder of the World. Dinner and overnight will be at Crater Forest Tented Camp (tented camp) or Rhino Lodge (standard lodge).
After breakfast, you will depart from Ngorongoro Conservation Area and head back to Arusha. With a prior arrangement, Kenya Safari Planners can drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) after the safari.
Note: Please note that there is no game hunting during this safari.
You will get to visit the Olduvai Gorge on the second day.
This safari will take place at various locations in Tanzania including Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You will be served breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and a liter of daily mineral water while on safari.

You can book a taxi service from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) to Nairobi. From Nairobi, there is a shuttle bus service to Arusha. Transfer from Nairobi to Arusha is 30 USD one way.
