Exciting Kenya Safaris

You will stay at a lodge in Maasai Mara and Sopa Lodge in Nakuru.

AA Lodge Maasai Mara (2 nights)

The lodge is located at the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve in the southwestern part of Kenya. It’s located four kilometers from the Sekenani main gate and 10 minutes drive from Siana Springs Airstrip. It is 255 kilometers from Nairobi, one-hour flight from Nairobi, and four hours drive from Nairobi on the new tarmac road.

The lodge is spread on 30 acres of land, uniquely laid out over the sprawling grounds that include rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees, a large swimming pool overlooking the lodge bonfire, the main restaurant, and bar. The lodge has 42 classic tents, 36 cottages, the main restaurant, bar, and several dining options.

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge (1 night)

Located on a range of hills that form the western limits of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, the lodge offers spectacular views over the vastness of Africa. The lodge overlooks Lake Nakuru and its surrounding national park that is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers. Lake Nakuru National Park is mainly a wooded and bushy grassland with a wide ecological diversity and characteristic habitats that range from the lake waters to the escarpment and ridges.

Program

Day 1

This is your first day in the safari. The driver will pick you up from your hotel or airport to proceed to Maasai Mara. The group will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a photo session and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives will motivate you. Spot the Big Five and other hundreds of animals and birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya, Africa. Your quest for Africa gets full satisfaction at this park. Meet the friendly Maasai tribe ready to welcome you to this spectacular natural heritage. The Big Five, namely lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, elephant, and other species of animals mingle freely in this national reserve. This is the place to be when you require a needed break from daily hustle.

Day 2

This is your day with nature. You will leave your hotel with a packed lunch for your full day in the expansive Maasai Mara reserve. Your guide will drive you near the animals to give that great chance to be near their kingdom. Spot the Big Five animals in the park. The vegetation is also beautiful. After lunch near the river, return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

You will wake up early in the morning and head to Lake Nakuru National Park with one or two stops on the way. You will arrive at Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. The swimming pool is available to cool yourself. You will have afternoon game drives at Lake Nakuru National Park nicknamed the "Pink Lake” and return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru National Park is also referred as the “Pink Lake” due to thousands of flamingos that hatch and fly over the lake. The beauty of this lake cannot be ignored. It is an ideal park for bird watching and seeing lions, rhinos, and buffaloes. It is best to visit the place throughout the year.

Day 4

This is your last day in the safari. You will check out after your breakfast and depart via game drives dropping at your Nairobi hotel in the afternoon.
