Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Park

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or from the airport and depart by road driving north crossing the equator from the Southern to the Northern hemisphere to Samburu Game Reserve, a semi-arid region. You will arrive in the afternoon for game viewing and you will be taken in your camp before sunset.

Day 2: Samburu National Park

The entire day you will spend in Samburu Game Reserve for searching of the Big Five, the Samburu five, and observing the vast unspoiled scenery during morning and afternoon game viewing drive, watching crocodiles bask on muddy riverbanks and velvet monkeys frolic in the late afternoon sun. The reserve is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern species such as the Grevy zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk, and the Beisa oryx (also referred as Samburu special).

The reserve is also popular for a minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion, leopard, and cheetah are an important attraction. Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area. Birdlife is abundant with over 450 species recorded. After this exciting day, you will return to your camp for relaxing and meals.

Day 3: Samburu - Lake Nakuru

Early morning breakfast at your lodge then depart for Samburu Game Reserve with a game en-route to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch and checking into the hotel. During the afternoon, proceed on a game drive in the park famous for great masses of flamingos, both white rhino and black rhino, etc.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your camp then depart for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, where you will enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 5: Maasai Mara

Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives across the plains and close encounter with elephants, lion, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, African birds, hippo, crocodile, vultures, African birds of prey, wildebeest, hyena.

Day 6: Maasai Mara - Lake Naivasha

Early breakfast and check out from the camp / lodge at 7:00 a.m. with a game drive en route while you exit the park. You will arrive at Lake Naivasha in the evening. Here you will have an option to visit Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island. The boat ride and your walking tour on the island takes one to one and a half hours.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli

Early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast at your hotel and depart by road to Amboseli National Park, famous for its breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro. The park also shelters more than 420 species of birds. An enormous elephant population and other big game are attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive at the camp / lodge for Lunch, before departing for a planned afternoon game drive.

Day 8: Amboseli - Nairobi

On this day, you will have a game drive as early as 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., then return to the camp for breakfast. Thereafter, check out the camp and proceed back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon with a drop-off either in your hotel or to the airport to catch up with your flight back home or to the next destination.

During the tour, you will explore Samburu National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha National Park, and Amboseli National Park.
