During this tour, you will be staying in lodges inside or near the national parks and game reserves you'll be visiting for the day. You will stay at Goshen Mara Camp-Masai Mara, Kibo Tented Camp- Amboseli National Park, Golden palace Hotel -Lake Nakuru, Tree Hotel- Tree hotel, Sweet waters-Sweet waters ,and at Samburu National Park- Umoja Camp.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve

At 7 a.m., depart from your Nairobi hotel for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, stopping at the view-point via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and at Narok town for lunch and re-fuelling. Arrive in time for a late afternoon / early evening game drive in the reserve which is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, proceed for a day of tracking game with your guide. All the Big Five may be seen, namely elephants, buffalo, and lion. The sighting of rhino and leopard which make the total five in number, very shy and elusive. Break for your leisurely picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

Have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, Lunch enroute, with chances to view Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar while on the main highway. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Sweetwaters Game Reserve

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, the abode of various water birds that breed in the Lake’s alkaline waters including flamingo, white pelicans and marabou stork. White rhino, Rothschild’s giraffe, and plain game are other species encountered while waterbuck and cape buffalo are common on the lake-shore.

After breakfast, depart for Sweetwaters, arriving in time for checking formalities and lunch. An afternoon game drive will follow during which you can view plain’s game and also visit the Chimpanzee sanctuary within. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Sweetwaters Game Reserve to Samburu Game Reserve

Have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart for Samburu Game Reserve via the Thomson Falls arriving in time for lunch. After a leisure break and evening game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Samburu Game Reserve

Have a full day in this great game reserve in full board. Samburu Game Reserve is north of the equator and contains rare, drought resistant animal species which go for long periods of time without water. These include the reticulated giraffe, grevy’s Zebras, the blue-Shanked Somali ostrich and gerenuk and the beisa oryx. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7: Samburu Game Reserve to Treehotel

After breakfast, depart for your base hotel for lunch, followed by transfer to your Treehotel where the night is spent and where a procession of forest animals visit the floodlit waterhole and salt lick with wake up calls when any of the Big Five are sighted. Species commonly seen include buffalo, giant forest hog, and elephant.

Day 8: Treehotel to Amboseli National Park

Early in the morning, transfer to the base hotel for breakfast then depart for Amboseli National Park with lunch enroute. In clear weather, the peak of Mt. Kenya may be seen and you will by-pass very pleasant countryside with coffee and tea plantations. Arrive in time for lunch and later a leisure break and an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park

Have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, have another game drive. Elephants and hippos can be seen battling in the swamp grounds, if the weather permits, you may view the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After lunch, have a brief siesta followed by an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 10: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

After breakfast, proceed on a morning game drive. Have an early lunch at the lodge then depart Amboseli National Park for Nairobi, arriving in the evening.

This safari tour will take you from Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Sweetwaters Game Reserve, Samburu Game Reserve, and Amboseli National Park.

Masai Mara is rich with natural scenic beauty, picturesque mountain tops, and wildlife. It prides itself as the home of the Big Five. Lake Nakuru is world-famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth - myriads of fuchsia pink flamingos whose numbers are legion, often more than a million - or even two million and Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro.

In Samburu National Park, there is a wide variety of animal and bird life seen. Several large game species common to Kenya's northern plains can be found in abundance here.
