Kambaku Safaris & Tours’ horses are sure-footed, reliable, and entirely at home among Namibia's diverse flora and fauna. They are also very hardy and perfectly adapted to the country's extreme temperature fluctuations. All horses are between 140 and 174 centimeters tall. Kambaku Safaris & Tours places great importance on their health and training. Their pro-horse attitude includes the provision of performance-directed feeds, regular veterinary care, careful shoeing, and regular exercise with experienced trainers.

All horses are level headed, relaxed, and pleasant to ride as a result of the professional dressage and lungeing work. Kambaku Safaris & Tours will strive to match you with your perfect horse from the very start and this horse will remain yours for the duration of your stay. Riding helmets will be available in various sizes and these need to be worn for insurance purposes. Protective vests will be also available and are particularly recommended for child riders.

There is no problem with children joining half and full day rides, providing they have sufficient riding skills and are very secure in the saddle plus physically capable of riding without assistance. However, all horse riding activities are unfortunately unavailable for children under 4-year old.

Note: Please remember that rainy days may change your riding plans. The summer heat also means that bush riding can only take place at dawn and sunset for the duration of these months.

Kambaku Game Reserve offers an exhilarating natural idyll in the flats below Waterberg. An 8,000-hectare of vast and wild savannah bush offers memorable days under the Namibian sun with an abundance of wildlife and warm hospitality for all guests.

Kambaku is the perfect safari destination for active guests, families with children, horse riders, nature lovers, lone travelers, hunters, and many more. This place incorporates a 4-star safari lodge accommodation and private camp, amazing game viewing, and loads of safari activities such as game drives and hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, the Ranger's Patrol etc. as well as trips all around Namibia.

Many African antelope species including impalas, gnus, elands, hartebeests oryx, kudus, giraffes, zebras, snakes, and other reptiles alongside mammals and vegetation. Predators like brown hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and spotted genets stroll through the bushveld while vultures, eagles, and more than 150 other bird species mastering the sky.

During your safari vacation, you will be served daily breakfast buffer with juices plus hot drinks and a 3-course meal for daily sinner. You will also get coffee or tea at dawn plus bottled water. "Here we spent one of our best vacations of all of all. Every wish a very great pleasure of the eyes. All employees are very dedicated and hard working and very friendly. The food can only be described with one word: a dream. The rooms are lovely and exceptionally, in the evening you get a delicious chocolate and a warm hot water bottle to bed. Of us, and rightly so 5 star plus and 100% recommendation "

"I love Kambaku Safaris & Tours team! I want to thank you for the wonderful holiday. Staying in your camp was awesome. We were very lucky in the hunt. About the kudu, I was allowed to shoot at the neighboring farm, Tyrol, that I was most looking forward. Of course, I was also very grateful about elandbulle and gnubulle. A special thanks to Horsti. I would also like to thank Cuba, Paul, and the other PH. It was a wonderful holiday again. Thank you for everything."

"I love Kambaku Safaris & Tours team and loved the riding guides. I wanted to have always written since we were in October 2013 that we enjoyed our stay with you, but it was just a shame that the vacation was so short. Next time, we would like to plan a lot more time with Kambaku Safaris & Tours. The service and the style of your lodge were great. The best thing was our sundowner ride because we had four drinks made by your guild. The canters, sunset, and table set were great. What an atmosphere! We still rave about it. Your horses were in a really good condition, very well-maintained, and well-trained. There were no truncated school horses, but motivated and super tradable animals. All harness was very well-maintained and it was just great. Greetings and all the best for you."
