Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

You will be picked up from the hotel for orientation at 8:00 a.m. You will depart for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch. Upon arrival, you will proceed for a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver / guide. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp, with bed, bedding, electricity, hot showers, and mosquito nets.

Day 2: Maasai Mara full day

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. You will take a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp with bed, bedding, and hot showers.

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru

You will have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, with lunch en route and scenic views of Mount Longmont and Lake Naivasha from afar, on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening and be dropped off at the hotel for dinner and overnight. The hotel is in the budget category, with self-contained rooms.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhinos, while species like cape buffaloes and water bucks can be seen near the shoreline. Later, you will drive to Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 5: Amboseli full day

A full day of game drives awaits you in this park, which has hippos, elephants taking baths, and swamp areas. After being given the option of a picnic lunch, you will spend the night at the camp, where there will be beds, bedding, hot showers, electricity, mosquito nets, and dinner.

Day 6: Amboseli - Nairobi

You will have an early morning game viewing and then return to the camp for a full breakfast. Later, you will be driven back to Nairobi to proceed to Mombasa for your beach holiday by road. Judeson Budget Safaris will drop you off at Emali to board a bus to Mombasa or at the airport to get you on a connecting flight to Mombasa.
