Accommodation
You will be accommodated for 2 nights in Miti Mingi Eco Camp, a budget tented camp located just outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The camp is situated within the Masai Mara eco-system and on the banks of Ololaimutia River which is a watering point for most of the wild animals especially elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, etc.
This small and exclusive campsite comprises of 25 tents. The tents are furnished with all the amenities required by the modern traveler. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cotton each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort.
All tents have four-poster beds and mosquito nets, en-suite with shower, WC and flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and electricity with a voltage of 240 volts.
Note: Children under 2 years old are not charged.
Program
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning for a journey south through the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Picnic lunch at Narok. Arrive in Mara for late afternoon game viewing en route. Then, experience an early evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 2: Masai Mara full day
Full day in the park in search of the Big Five. Meals and overnight at campsite. There's an optional visit to the Masai Village in the afternoon or to see the animal.
Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Morning game drive. After breakfast, depart Mara with a picnic lunch at Narok, arriving in Nairobi late afternoon, approximately at 4 p.m.
