With 18,989 square kilometers of conservation area, the Kruger National Park is South Africa’s largest and one of the world’s most famous game reserves. This home of the mighty Big Five has a wider selection of mammal species than any other destination in Africa. Established in 1898 by Paul Kruger, this foremost wildlife sanctuary offers a safe haven for games away from hunters. The Kruger National Park is considered a must-see safari destination by many of its visitors.

It boasts an extensive and varied ecosystem that offers many game viewing opportunities. Positioned in the attractive bushveld of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces, this park is the ideal place to look for lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, buffalos, and a whole lot more.

Within 8 hours’ drive from Johannesburg, this park attracts more than half a million visitors every year. "On our first trip to Africa, we experienced real adventure and amazing scenery. The 13 day "Southern Explorer" Tour gave us the opportunity to visit South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. This well rounded itinerary offered us a wide variety of excursions and activities. The scenery was beautiful and we were able to see lots of wildlife and many birds on the various jeep drives and river cruises. Our tour guides, Piet and Bryce, were knowledgable and provided great meals at the campsite. They ensured we were well taken care of. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys real adventure and authentic experiences. Join Jovobic Safaris for a "

"My husband and I arrived in Johannesburg with high expectations for our first African safari and I’m pleased to say that Jobovic Safaris far exceeded our expectations. During the booking process, Piet answered all of my questions in a timely manner and adequately prepared us for our trip. Once our tour began, it did not take long before we knew Jobovic Safaris would live up to its promise of warm hospitality, lots of adventure, and fun-filled days. Piet and Bryce make such a great team and always ensured we were happy, comfortable, and well-fed every step of the way. Piet is a wonderful driver and Bryce is a very knowledgeable tour guide. Plus, their passion for Africa’s wildlife and culture shines brightly. We learned so much from them and appreciated every opportunity to partake in African traditions, such as a traditional Braai with pap and chakalaka. I simply cannot say enough positive things about Jobovic Safaris and would highly recommend booking with them. By the end of our trip, my husband and I knew we wanted to return someday and that is all because Piet and Bryce made our first experience so very enjoyable. Thank you, Jobovic Safaris, for an amazing trip with unforgettable memories!"
