This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in the park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River, that flows all year round, is the life blood of the park.

Many animals, predators, and the preys alike, gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing. In the late afternoon, you will go back to your campsite to prepare for a walking tour with a ranger for two hours, followed by your overnight stay at Jambo lodge.

Day 3 - Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

The breakfast will be at 06:00. You will be picked up from the camp at 07:00 and drive to the great Serengeti National Park with your picnic lunch packed and have a game drive en-route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. The Serengeti National Park is the home to the lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. Serengeti is one of the most comprehensive and appealing internet presentations on nature, conservation, and research in general.

Every day, hundreds of nature lovers and tourists from all over the world visit the virtual Serengeti. You will experience the local Maasai people around Lake Manyara. In this day, Serengeti is one of the most famous national parks on earth, renowned for its magnificent lions but best known for its great migration. Overnight stay will be at Seronera Campsite.

Day 4 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will continue with the game viewing in Serengeti for three hours. After that, you will proceed with a game en route, arriving at Naabi gate for lunch and then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

This day, you will start early in the morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2,000 feet high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.

Your driver or guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great exploration in Ngorongoro Crater, you will drive to Jambo lodge and Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Lake Manyara to Arusha

After breakfast, you will visit the Lake Manyara National Park. The protected area encloses a large part of the alkaline lake of the same name. This amazing lake is the seasonal home of a giant flamingo colony and many more waterfowls. On the lake shore, you can also observe elephants, hippos, buffaloes, guenons, banded mongooses, and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes.

Furthermore, the park is well known for its “tree climbing lions”. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the national park, you will leave the park in the afternoon and travel to Arusha tourist in hotel Lodge.

Soon, the higher lands are reached and a wonderful view of the Maasai plains and the Lake Manyara opens up before you. Photo stops will be taken and you will be able to enjoy the spectacular views. You will end the day with dinner and overnight stay at Arusha Tourist Inn.

Day 7 - Arusha National Park

Depart Arusha in the morning with your private guide and travel to Arusha National Park, a short 40-minute drive from Arusha town. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie "Hartari" in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne.

Your day trip includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater, affectionately known as the "Little Ngorongoro". Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, and zebras can all be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting to accompany you on a walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close.

Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. You will be back to Arusha in the evening.Arusha tourist inn hotel

This day, you will drive for about two hours through Kilimanjaro in the morning to the semi-tropical foothills Marangu area, which is situated on the southeastern side of the mountain. As you drive, there is usually some admirable view of the snow-capped peak of the mountain.

On arrival at Marangu Gate, you will meet your team of guides and porters, and pick up any last-minute supplies for the trek and head to the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb. From the cluster of buildings at the gate, it is around four to five hours walk through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut.
