After the drive, the Jeep will be parked and around one and a half kilometer away from the Mount Bromo summit, you can hire a horse or walk to get to the top of Mount Bromo. There are over 200 stairs you need to climb to get to the peak of the mountain.

As you reach the peak, you will be able to see the mountain's activity and hear the roar of magma from the center of the crater. This tour will take place in Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen, and Sukamade Turtle Beach in Indonesia.

Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 meters (7,641 feet), it is not the highest peak of the massif but is the most well-known. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The name of Bromo derived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god.

Mount Bromo sits in the middle of a vast plain called the “Sea of Sand” (Javanese: Segara Wedi or Indonesian: Lautan Pasir), a protected nature reserve since 1919. The typical way to visit Mount Bromo is from the nearby mountain village of Cemoro Lawang. From there, it is possible to walk to the volcano in about 45 minutes but it is also possible to take an organized Jeep tour, which includes a stop at the viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan (2,770 meters or 9,088 feet) (Indonesian: Gunung Penanjakan). The viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan can also be reached on foot in about two hours.

Mount Ijen

The Ijen volcano complex is a group of stratovolcanoes, in East Java, Indonesia. It is inside a larger caldera Ijen, which is about 20 kilometers wide. The Gunung Merapi stratovolcano is the highest point of that complex. West of Gunung Merapi is the Ijen volcano, which has a one-kilometer-wide turquoise-colored acid crater lake. The lake is the site of a labor-intensive sulfur mining operation, in which sulfur-laden baskets are carried by hand from the crater floor. The work is low-paid and very onerous. Workers earn around 900 IDR per kilogram of sulfur and once out of the crater, they still need to carry their loads of sulfur chunks about three kilometers to the nearby Pultuding valley to get paid.

Many other post-caldera cones and craters are located within the caldera or along its rim. The largest concentration of post-caldera cones forms an east / west-trending zone across the southern side of the caldera. The active crater at Kawah Ijen has an equivalent radius of 361 meters (1,184 feet), a surface of 0.41 square kilometers (0.16 square miles). It is 200 meters (660 feet) deep and has a volume of 36 cubic hectometers (29,000-acre-feet).

Sukamade Turtle Beach

Sukamade Turtle Beach is one part of Meru National Park and is a zone Betiri intensive use for observation and release turtle hatchlings. In this beach, visitors can watch turtle nesting. Sukamade is a beautiful white sand beach. Ocean water is still clean with a protected forest composed of a variety of plants. The most typical is the sea turtle spawning areas.

Sukamade is located in the area of Natural Conservation Park of Meru Betiri in the district of Banyuwangi. Its white sand coast is an interesting object in the coast of Sukamade, where the sea water is still clean and the natural forest consists of varieties of plantations. Besides that, a very unique thing in the coast of Sukamade is the place where sea turtles lay eggs. The turtles usually lay their eggs at night.
