This safari will take place in Zimbabwe and Botswana. Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park are places that will be visited during your stay in Zimbabwe. Victoria Falls is the largest single curtain of falling water in the world and also the adventure capital of southern Africa. Meanwhile, Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe’s largest game reserve and boasts of the "Big Five" and many more animals. Hwange has no major rivers running through it but the park relies on water holes that are scattered around it for its survival.
During dry season, these natural water holes are supplemented by mechanical pumps which keep the water level sufficient until the rains come. Meanwhile, in Botswana, there are some places that will be visited including Chobe National Park, Nata in Makgadikgadi Pans, Moremi Game Reserve, the Okavango Delta, and Maun. Chobe National Park boasts of the largest number of elephants in the region.
Meanwhile, Moremi Game Reserve is a place where people can experience one of Africa’s ‘last Edens’ in typical Hemingway’ style. The Okavango Delta is host to a myriad of bird life and an abundance of mammals. Some animals that can be seen are red lechwes, reed bucks, leopards, lions, giraffes, wildebeests, buffalos, and elephants. Moreover, the Okavango Delta is also a good place to see the endangered wattled crane.
During this safari, you will get daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On day 4, you will savor your dinner at famous Boma Restaurant. A scrumptious road-side picnic lunch will be served on day 7.
