Ongava lodge

Ongava Lodge is one of Namibia’s premier lodges on one of the country’s most important private game reserves. Perched on a ridge with seemingly endless views across the plains, Ongava Lodge’s air-conditioned brick, rock, and thatch chalets, each with en-suite facilities, offer a relaxing retreat in the African bush. You may stay at the main thatched dining area and enjoy a drink at the bar while watching wildlife congregate and interact at the floodlit waterhole.

Waterberg Wilderness lodge

The buildings of Waterberg Wilderness lodge are sheltered in a long valley in the midst of the Waterberg mountain range. Built from red Waterberg sandstone, they nestle under enormous old trees. The mature, well-kept garden with its two pavilions, many cool and shady places and an immured spring water basin lined by giant bamboo are idyllic.

The lodge has eight double rooms and four family rooms with shower, water closet, sitting area, and veranda. Its facilities include solar powered outlets, restaurant, tea garden, spring water swimming pool, free Wi-Fi at the restaurant, and laundry service.

Day 1 - 2

In the morning, you will depart from Eros Airport (ERS) to the northern bush savannah of Namibia and land at Waterberg Plateau Park. The impressive mountain range invites you to undertake a hike in the afternoon. Stay overnight at Waterberg Wilderness lodge. The meals provided on these days are breakfast and dinner.

Day 3 - 4

The Etosha National Park, named after the Etosha pan within the park, is one of the largest and most beautiful game parks in Africa and is the next destination of your safari. You'll stay overnight at Onguma camp. The meals provided on these days are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

"My five friends and I took this quick holiday and had no idea what to expect. We were given a luxurious camping experience, with mattress pads, fabulous home cooked meals, with China plates and the works. We woke up in the morning for lovely sunrises, dune hikes, pool relaxation time, and sundowners. Throughout our excursions, Andre was a wealth of information and a great conversationalist to boot. The trip was short but sweet, and I can not recommend it more. I hope to join Impala Tours again soon."
