Pench National Park

It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. Pench National Park, comprising of 758 square kilometers, out of which a core area of 299 square kilometers of Indira Priyadarshini.

Pench National Park and the Mowgli Pench Sanctuary and remaining 464 square kilometers of Pench National Park is the buffer area. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighborhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling’s most famous work, The Jungle Book.

Kanha National Park

Situated in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the picturesque Kanha National Park was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s unforgettable classic Jungle Book. The romance of the Kanha National Park has not reduced over time-it is still as beautiful. Today Kanha is among the few most scenic and beautiful wildlife reserves in Asia.

This ‘Tiger Country’ is the ideal home for both predator and prey. By far the most striking features of this region are the open grassy meadows, where sighting blackbuck, swamp deer, sambhar, and chital is common. If one can transcend into time, a barefooted Mowgli would perhaps come padding along the dusty trail, for this is the land of Kipling’s Jungle Book.

Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is the most popular national park in India and is located in the Vindhya Hills of the Umaria District in Madhya Pradesh. Declared as a national park in 1968, Bandhavgarh National Park is spread across the area of 105 square kilometers. The name Bandhavgarh has been derived from the most prominent hillock of the area of Umaria. The park has been divided into three major zones named as Tala, Magdi, and Bamera out of which the Tala zone attracts a major number of tourists by offering the tiger sighting opportunities.
