During the safari, you will be staying at Ranthambore Regency Hotel. Located in a prime setting, on a private estate on Ranthambhore Road and a stone’s throw away from Ranthambhore National Park, the Ranthambhore Regency is just a modicum of what to expect at India’s favorite tiger reserve.

With breathtaking views of the Vindhyas and the Arravali’s each time you look out of your window, melodious sounds of the native avifauna pecking on tree trunks or having chirpy conversations with their comrades and jungle cats minding their own business, you will be as close to nature as you possibly can, while living in the lap of gorgeous luxury.


Day 1: Arrival at Sawai Madhopur (Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore Fort - Ranthambore)

After you arrive at Sawai Madhopur Junction railway station, the team will pick you up at the arrival point. You will then check into the Ranthambore Regency. After lunch, you will head out for a visit to Ranthambore Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Ranthambore Fort is the second largest fort in Rajasthan and is situated inside the tiger reserve. The 1,200-year-old hill fortress was once a strategic post to prevent Marathas from increasing their influence up north. It is also home to famous three-eyed Hindu god, Ganesh, whose blessings are sought before any new beginnings.

The jeep would drop you at the entrance of the fort and an easy walk of one and a half kilometers would take you to the top of the fort, which will take you approximately three hours. After that, you may enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Whole day safari (Ranthambore National Park)

You will have a morning wake-up call with tea, coffee, and cookies before starting to explore. The first morning safaris with the in-house naturalist and a safari driver. Safaris vehicle will report as per their respective timings to start safaris. After the morning safaris, the staff will escort you for the breakfast and to hear your first experience about the Ranthambore Park safaris.

After breakfast, you will be driven to explore the Ranthambore villages and museum, then return for lunch. After lunch and some chill out, you will start an afternoon jungle safaris again with the trained in-house naturalist and driver. After the evening safaris, you will be given time to get ready for dinner and leisure time.

Day 3: Departure (Ranthambore)

You will have a morning wake up call with tea, coffee, and cookies before starting to explore the first morning safaris with the in-house naturalist and safari driver. Safaris vehicle will report as per their respective timings to start safaris. After the morning safaris, the staff will escort you for the breakfast and to hear your experience about the Ranthambore Park safaris. You will then then check out for your onward journey.

Crocodile safari at Pali Ghat (3000 INR for two people)

The ultimate spot to enjoy a bit of serene tranquillity, Pali Ghat Crocodile Park, situated on the banks of the Chambal River, is a fascinating destination. Though abundant crocodiles and gharials are visible to the naked eye, the shimmering waters of the river hide many more secrets within its depth. This riverside sanctuary is also an ideal place for bird watching and provides for interesting pictures of rare avifauna.

Visit a local village

Every foreigner who sets foot into India is eager to discover the true essence of the country and is hurriedly searching for it while hopping from one major city to another. Excursion to Mansarovar Dam

Situated on the southwestern fringes of the Ranthambhore National Park, 20 kilometers from the main city, the formidable structure of Mansarovar Dam creates a walled boundary for the national reserve. A perennial water source, it attracts birds, both native and migratory to quench their thirst at the clear waters and breed at its banks.

Excursion to Surual Lake

Surual is a shallow lake situated in Ranthambhore district of Sawai Madhopur. Approximately 10 kilometers from the main city, this seasonal lake boasts a charming location amidst acres of lush agricultural fields. Offering the perfect spot for bird watching, this lake is recommended for its serenity and tranquillity.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Jaipur International Airport (JAI). The journey from the airport to Ranthambhore Regency can be completed in three and a half hours.

Arrival by train

Please take a train to arrive at Sawai Madhopur Junction railway station. Hotel Ranthambore Regency team will pick you up at arrival point. Just 10 kilometers away from the railway station of Sawai Madhopur, Ranthambhore Regency is easily accessible by train from Mumbai, Delhi, and Jaipur as all of these offer regular super fast train services stopping at Sawai Madhopur. Sawai Madhopur also receives rail services from other major cities in Rajasthan.

Depending on the train chosen, the time taken from major destinations to Sawai Madhopur station is two to three hours from Jaipur, three to five hours from New Delhi, and 13 hours from Mumbai.
