Program

The safari commerces from Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, there is no program. Simply and jungle safari is a journey to the deep wild forest with a view of wildlife and their activities. The trip was even a big-game hunt in the past, but nowadays safari refers to observing and photographing. There are a bunch of jungles in Nepal among which you are going to discuss the famous one. Jungle Safari Nepal is a series of adventures that takes you to the other world. The specialty of Jungle Safari Nepal is one-horned rhinoceros and Bengali tiger.

And they are the rare species of wildlife in the world. Also, there are much appearing of various other wild creatures like a leopard, wild boars, bears, wild elephants, etc. The activities done in Jungle Safari Nepal are jeep safari, bird watching, canoe riding, and jungle walking. Besides this thrilling episode, the package merges with a village walk which offers the chance to see the culture, customs, traditions, and lifestyle of the Tharu people.

Daily itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Chitwan National Park - cultural tour

Morning drive or fly to Chitwan (186 kilometers / 5.5 hours). Upon arrival at Chitrasari, reception by Himalayan Smile Treks and Adventures' officer and transfer to the hotel. Welcome drinks and briefing about your programs in Chitwan National Park.

Day 2: Wildlife activities in Chitwan National Park

  • Morning wakeup call

  • 07:00 Jeep safari, an excellent opportunity to encounter rhinoceros, deer, rhesus monkeys, wild boars, wild cats, leopards, even royal Bengal tiger if you are lucky, and other mammals

The tour commences from Kathmandu to Chitwan and drives to Chitwan National Park where the jungle tour starts.

Nepal

Chitwan National Park has flora and fauna which includes 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpes to fauna, and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of one-horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tigers, and Gharial crocodiles. The national park has many unforgettable wildlife activities including an elephant breeding center, jeep safari, canoeing, bird watching, and tiger tracking, and the Tharu village tour can observe Tharu culture also.
