Chitwan National Park is one of the premier drawcards in Nepal. This World Heritage–listed reserve protects more than 932 square kilometers of forests, marshland, and grassland containing sizeable animal populations, making it one of the best national parks for viewing wildlife in Asia. You will have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and some of the more than 500 species of birds. Day 1: Sauraha Arrival
Upon your arrival to Sauraha Bus Stand, one of the hotel's staff will receive you and transfer you to your lodge, where you will be offered refreshments and be given a briefing on your lodge and its facilities. After being given your program for the day, your room will then be assigned to you.
After lunch, there will be a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Visit to the National Park Visitor’s centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife, After, see the sunset view from the bank of Rapti River.
There will also be a Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers or slide show presentation on almost everything about the Chitwan.
Day 2 : Chitwan National Park
After the wake up call, you will have breakfast. You will have a canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the two rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. There will be a jungle walk and on the way back, one can enjoy the elephant bathing view.
After lunch, there will be an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.
Day 3: Departure
You will be droped off at the tourist bus station for your onward journey.

In Nepal, the elephant is fast becoming one of the most endangered animals and the center was established to increase its numbers. You will have an opportunity to visit the breeding center. Learn about the efforts to increase the pachyderm population and get to see several cow elephants and their calves.
The jungle scenery, birds and animals alone do not make up the unique features of Chitwan National Park. The indigenous local people, the Tharus, are also of immense interest.
