You will stay for two nights at Parkland Resort or somewhere similar.


Day 1: Sauraha Arrival

Upon your arrival to Sauraha Bus Stand, one of the hotel's staff will receive you and transfer you to your lodge, where you will be offered refreshments and be given a briefing on your lodge and its facilities. After being given your program for the day, your room will then be assigned to you.

After lunch, there will be a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Visit to the National Park Visitor’s centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife, After, see the sunset view from the bank of Rapti River.

There will also be a Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers or slide show presentation on almost everything about the Chitwan.

Day 2 : Chitwan National Park

After the wake up call, you will have breakfast. You will have a canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the two rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. There will be a jungle walk and on the way back, one can enjoy the elephant bathing view.

After lunch, there will be an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.

Day 3: Departure

You will be droped off at the tourist bus station for your onward journey.

This safari will take place in Chitwan National Park, Nepal. Nepal is rich in lush green wildlife. Chitwan National Park is the largest national park in Nepal and widely regarded as one of the best national parks in Asia. Covering the area of 967 square kilometers, Chitwan National Park is already cited as UNESCO World Heritage Natural Site. Chitwan National Park is regarded as a very popular wildlife safari destination due to its thriving wildlife population and easy accessibility from Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Chitwan National Park offers the diverse ecosystem and the prime vegetation of sal (Shorea robusta) which covers almost 70% of the forest. The 20% of the national park is covered by grassland with as many as 50 species of grasses. Out of all 43 recorded species of animals in Chitwan National Park, there are 600 recorded species of great one-horned rhinoceros and 106 tigers. Besides, Chitwan Park is the home of many other wild animals including wild elephant, fresh water dolphin, leopard, gaur, wild dog, rhesus monkey, langur, hog deer, stripped hyena, and sloth bear.

Jeep Safari

There are optional mountainflight which cost you 190 USD.Those visitors who do not want to ride the mighty tuskers can enjoy a jungle safari in CNP by hoodless jeeps. Through the open jeeps, visitors can catch glimpses of rare wild flora and fauna in their natural habitats. Jeep drive will also take you to ‘Gharial Crocodile Breeding Centre’ at Kasara of CNP’s headquarters, where you can observe breeding activities of Gharial, Marsh Magar and tortoises alike.

Visit Elephant Breeding Centre

Of the two elephant-breeding centers that exist in the world, one lies in the Chitwan National Park. In Nepal, the elephant is fast becoming one of the most endangered animals and the center was established to increase its numbers. You will have an opportunity to visit the breeding center. Learn about the efforts to increase the pachyderm population and get to see several cow elephants and their calves.

Village Walk

The jungle scenery, birds and animals alone do not make up the unique features of Chitwan National Park. The indigenous local people, the Tharus, are also of immense interest. A professional guide / expert naturalist will accompany you through the area and help you gather insights into the Tharu way of life.

Crocodile Breeding Center

Crocodile breeding center is one of the most enjoyable programs which is the part of Jeep Safari in Chitwan National Park. The endangered program is receiving the attention of Chitwan National Park. Along with the Crocodile you can enjoy viewing scary Mugger Crocodile.
